Good morning! A little mixed to be fair yesterday - we seemed to always be there or thereabouts with the second rated horse coming up trumps frequently and at good odds too. Number of tidy 1-2s at good odds as well, but I dont know quite what was going on at the AW meeting - some very strange results over the card. The 33/1 winner ran 12 lengths better than his official rating which is rather odd but I guess thats horse racing! If it was predictable, it would Formula 1!

RP Comment: The lightly raced 8yo had run only twice since winning a good-ground novice hurdle at Hexham for Ferdy Murphy in March 2012, the last of them when beaten only narrowly into third on his chasing debut over 3m at Taunton in January. Reeled in late on that occasion, there was a suspicion that this extra 2f would find him out. However, travelling strongly for the majority of this, he kept on dourly once working his way to the front and, despite lugging to his left under pressure, did more than enough to repel the late rally of the runner-up. He´s entitled to come on a fair bit for this given his 303-day break and rates as a decent staying prospect for connections for the remainder of the campaign.

Good morning! We fared better yesterday with some decent winners and placed efforts although typically the bbotd snatched defeat from the jaws of victory and was just out stayed in the last 50 yards to lose by less than 1/2 length! However we had 4 decent winners in the HOT PICKS including Tweed which was 9/2 backed into 3/1
Today looks like a tricky days racing. Lots of either over exposed types against unexposed horses or horses not guaranteed to stay the trip/go on the ground - so caution advised - although we've had some decent Saturday's of late.

Good morning! Again a rather frustrating day with so many of our selections finishing placed and more often than not less than a length from the winner. Im not sure if anyone saw our Bet of the day - The Druid Nephew's race? I cant explain how badly the horse jumped and despite being off the bridle so early it still finished fourth. If it had jumped better it would most certainly have won. I think the commentator described it as "jumping with diving boots on". No excuses though. More needed! Lets hope for some better luck today!
