We started the day yesterday with a first rated winner at 6/1 so applying the £20 on the 90 min strategy and stop at profit target you would have been £120.00 up after Race 1 - so most would or should have stopped right there and then! The EW theif picked up several winners including revolutionist at 8/1 and Dew Pond at 9/2. Keith also was spot on with his place selection and as at 30th May is 16.36points up. Better day for the Ratings yesterday - BBOTD won and we had quite a few decent 1st rated winners go in. Hopefully all members made a profit yesterday. Saturdays racing looks really tricky. Some good racing but the spread over some horses is tight. Only 1.5 lengths separate 4-5 horses. Overall my advice would be to skip todays racing or reduce stakes!

We fared a little better yesterday - several of the recommended RFCs came in and we also had quite a few of the EW thief selections place / win. We also managed to snaffle a 14/1sp 1st rated winnner with Floresco (I believe it was bigger than 20/1 on Betfair!) - Still a little more consistency required though, but we had a 9/4 winner in the very first race, so £20 bet would have netted you £45.00 - enough to potentially stop there and then! I think car crash summed up yesterday - I gave a clear warning about the "quality" of racing yesterday and was just about spot on. If you were a bookmaker you had a great day! Only Wolves showed any return and there were a few decent 2nd rated winners elsewhere, but geesh, GF jumping and flat racing at Wetherby.....?! Today to be fair doesnt look much better. Numbers are low and the spread in some races is quite wide with only a length covering 4-5 horses. If you avoided yesterday, avoid today, if you didnt heed my warning yesterday then i suggest you heed it today! I cant be any clearer or honest - these are my ratings, thus i can see patterns and know when perhaps to stick and when perhaps to twist! It is however at the end of the day, your choice!

Not one of our better days yesterday - some poor runs by several horses - Thetis and Divisionist especially. BBOTD won though and we did get a few decent priced 1st rated winners - though I accept profit may have been at a premium yesterday depending if and when you stopped. I bat on about £20-£30 a day being more than reasonable. £30 a day would give you over £10,000 tax free a year. It is worth bearing in mind.
Today we only have the 4 meetings:
I do have my concerns about todays racing - Summer jumps card at Hexham on good to firm (horses will hate it!), a low grade card at Wolves and the other 2 meetings arent great either - Flat racing at Wetherby?! Not sure I'll be having any bet today and could be a car crash day (Now where's my bookmakers licence?) Please tread carefully if you have to bet today!!!

Another up and down day - hopefully enough winners to keep the Betting banks topped up and nice to see a 23/1(BSP) winner with Battash. It was a tricky day with the weather and so difficult to judge sometimes. Our BBOTD was given an awful ride by Richard Johnson - The ground was against him but he ran anyway and proceeeded to hit every fence and Johnson ran him for the first part of the race with the choke out leaving him tired 2 out. He needed covering up and settling, but Johnson did the exact opposite! Frustrating! There is no way Miss Tenacious is a 19+ lengths better horse than Ink Master! Anyway, enough of my moaning...

BBOTD returned to winning ways and all but the most bizarre run by All Yours would have secured a nice winning treble. 2nd rated War Singer won by over 20 lengths after All Yours looked to be absolutely cruising to victory. Most strange and the 2nd 1/5 shot to be beaten in as many days. Red faces all round or something more sinister going on? Anyway those following the RFC didnt care as they returned a better profit! We had some nice winners yesterday including a 9/1 in the 2.35 which helped boost most members betting banks and those following the 90 min strategy. A guy has approached me about giving members EW info on 1 card from time to time and I've agreed to post it here - its not mine nor is it from the ratings. BBOTD won nicely and we didnt do as badly overall as I initially feared. York was quite a good meeting for us IF you dutched/bet to level stakes - 4 winners - 3 1st rated and 1 2nd rated. Just a side note, to thank you for all your well wishes regarding TPS turning 3! A vast majority of you have been here since Day 1 and at times its been a rollercoaster but overall the Ratings have proved consistent and the trick remains of how to use them to their best effect. A reasonable day for the Ratings yesterday - BBOTD won again and the Win Double also won giving members a 3/1 treble if backing them in a treble (3.15/1 in fact). Today looks an exceptionally tricky day with again 4-5 horses within a point of each other in terms of rating and with me being ill, I confess here and now that I havent had the chance to carry out my usual overview and manipulation of certain variables to ascertain whether it would produce a clearer picture of the 2 best rated. BBOTD won nicely. Some debatable riding from the win double pair - Jock certainly stopped riding on Singyoursong and the Jock on Valentino Boy was bullied out of it when he should have elbowed his way through the gap. Still some really nice winners/placed selections including a first rated 25/1 shot placing at 1/4 odds. Some decent 1-2s as well - most we've had in some time and a profit for the 90 Mins brigade. Today looks iffy with the weather likely to play a part.

BBOTD and Win Double again won which was pleasing and the numbers were as bad as I had feared though Ascot proved as tricky as I warned. Today we have SEVEN meetings and it looks a typical Saturday - some massive fields to contend with and some very similar handicapped horses and some horses competing on entirely different going than previously encountered. In short a very tricky day ensues. Please heed my warning and if you don't need to bet, don't! Enjoy the warm weather instead. For those who ignore my warning, if you can get out of dodge with a £10-£20 profit, I would desist and move on to Monday.

Strange day yesterday - first view I thought we had an awful day but the BBOTD won (just) (1-2) and the Win Double won, then I looked at the EW Thief selections and 4 from 6 won at 11/4, 100/30, 7/2 and 3/1 (all SP, bigger prices were available earlier in the day) and 1 4/1 2nd placed (wolf Sword) Only Persied let us down for an ew full house. I then checked the evening races and we had 4 winners at Wincanton and 6 at Carlise. I appreciate they were a mix of 1st and 2nd rated, but we also had almost all selections placing with 3 1-2s at Carlise which was pleasing.
On to today - Chester's card look neigh on impossible. I just cant recommend that course as a betting medium today. Please avoid if possible, even remove it from the 90 min strategy. We'll see how we get on today.....

It was a shame our BBOTD got brought down but the other selection won and correct me if I'm wrong but all the EW Thief selections placed so anyone following those didnt fare too badly. A reasonable day for the ratings given the win/place ratio. Today looks an iffy day ratings wise. Again 3-5 horses in most races are within a point of one another. All I'd say / advise is to either swerve the day completely and enjoy the warm early summer sunshine or reduce stakes and profit targets accordingly. Please heed my warning and please no abusive emails if we have a dip in winners today!!

Slightly frustrating day yesterday as with previous days with a few of our selections only losing by a neck. After the 1st rated was a nr, flutterbee at 8/1 was only beaten by a nose and there were around 3 other races which saw our selection lose out by less than a neck. If those go for you, the results look so much better but they are the margins we live and die by. I hope members look at the results page on say RP and note some of the small losing margins.
