Hi Andrew and welcome to the forum!

In terms of strike rate on Irish AW (Dundalk) it all depends on what you are looking for. I’ll illustrate a few examples then perhaps you can let me know exactly what your looking for and we can take it further.

Dundalk (the only AW track in Ireland) runs any thing from 5f, 6f, 1m, 1m2f etc, etc right up to 2m, and whilst there isn’t a one size fits all approach I can tell you that we have a higher strike rate of winners from the shorter trips compared to the longer trips (this won’t generally be a surprise as th field sizes are smaller on the shorter trips and probability is therefore more in our favour) we also have nearly twice as many 6f 1st rated winners in the spring than we do in the winter, but no less winners, just more 2nd and 3rd rated winners – why? no idea. It might just be that the quality of racing is slightly higher (more Class 3 and 4 as opposed to 5 and 6)

Let me know if thats useful, and also let me know how you use the Ratings as this might yet bear more fruit!

It wasn’t to be yesterday, well beaten by an 11/1SP outsider!!

No NAP today, all possibles are too short and the value isn’t their. Back tomorrow.
