Ideally suited by trip when landing handicap by 4 lengths over 3m at Ffos Las last time out; well treated if turned out quickly; back down in trip today; unproven on fast ground but has potential; should be there or thereabouts!
ModeratorSo a place as hoped yesterday for our EYECATCHER, in fact it waas close, could have taken it. Incidentally, he’s turned out again today! if that’s not too quick may go in today!
Saturday’s EYECATCHERS
1310 Cheltenham – Strictlydancer 11/1
Below par comfortably held in a handicap chase over C&D last time out, strong traveller but weal finishes of late; usually held up; good jockey booked; place claims at this price!
1445 Wetherby – Old Gregorian 3/1
Travelled well when won handicap at Kelso by 4 lengths last time out; overall profile a bit patchy but not out of it; watch market for clues.

Made numerous errors before flying home on reappearance. If he sorts his jumping out can win this today!

Probably needed the race when fourth by 16 lengths in a handicap chase over 2m at Newton Abbot last time out; longer trip and better ground should help; very well treated on old form; interesting at a price; place contender!
1440 Lingfield – Doom 11/4
Yard has won the last two runnings of this race; Prix Ceres winner last year; placed in Valiant this summer; below par first tim eon Polytrack; back up in trip today; off from a short break; leading contender.
1615 Dundalk – The Bear Trap 8/1
Didn’t get a clear run when beaten 6 1/4 lengths over 6f at Curragh last time out; steps back in trip today which is a plus; well treated on spring form; very interesting at a price/
1730 Southwell – Grey Salvo 3/1
Runner up beaten 2 1/2 lengths in maiden over C&D on only start; should progress for that; looks the pick on balance of form.

Below par 4 1/2 length 3rd in novice over 8f here on most recent run, back up in trip today, previous C&D winner, worth a shout!

Well backed when landed handicap by 2 lengths over 2m5f at Warwick last time out, up in trip today, big chance!
1530 Wincanton – Lord Accord 7/2
16 length winner over C&D last time out, margin exaggerated by faller, placed in this in 2022, 8lb higher but may just have more in the tank, threat!

Steady improver when scoring by 1/2 a length over 6f at Newcastle on penultimate start, second beaten 1/2 length last time out, goes well here, step back in trip looks a plus; strong claims!

Travelled well when won a maiden hurdle at Bangor over 2m1f last time out, back doen in trip can follow up on reappearance if fit!
ModeratorWell, the mud was the difference yesterday and our selection ran gamely but ultimately ended up being Pulled Up. Never mind we go again today….
Wednesaday’s EYECATCHERS
1550 Fakenham – Catboy 13/8
Game when scored by 3 1/2 lengths off 77 over 2m2f at Fontwell on penultimate start; 2nd beaten 2l off 85 last time but outstayed late on having looked the likely winner; can make amends on this sharp track!
1800 Kempton – Olivia Jane 11/4
Runner-up beaten a neck in novice at Wolverhampton on only start, stables horses tend to come on plenty for initial experience; contender!

Came clear with well treated winner on handicap debut finishing well having conceded first run. Can continue progress now upped in trip, interesting at a price!
