Frustrating! beaten in to 2nd place – again!

    NAP of the day

    1600 Salisbury – Musical Mystery 9/2

Returned to form on return from break by placing 2nd at Doncaster two weeks ago, well treated, big threat and can go one better!

Morning guys, to answer your question I have been compiling the Ratings for some time as most of you know. Matt has moved on, his work and family commitments meant he couldn’t devote the time and energy to it as he once did.

Matt and I always confered, crossmatched our Ratings and devised the algorithm that scored the horses – which is in my (unbiosed opinion lol!!!) second to none! We consistently get more winners, more forecasts than any other comparible service out there.

Wherever and whatever you are on today, make it a profitable one!

    Hi Peter,

    Please see below:

You will notice this symbol [F] after one selection in each race. You will all have noticed sometimes the Ratings betwwen all three rated selections are very close and on occasion identical. So we have identified the FORM [F] horse in each race which might just help your personal selection process. Hopefully that might be useful to you. If you need anything further, please add your comments/thoughts.

BB (best bet of the day) and NB (next best bet of the day) will continue but there may not always be a NB if there are too many to filter!

The Matched Ratings will not however continue as Matt has moved on to other projects and they are now redundant.

Good Luck with whatever you are on today.

Now guys, something to take into consideration. All week the ground has been getting drier and drier, and whilst all turf courses are watered extensively to attempt to provide as close to good ground as possible, most are running closer to firm than good, or even good to firm. Why does this matter? Well other than smaller field sizes (nobody wants to risk injury of their prize asset on firm ground) we are seeing plenty of winners, but the form gets a bit muddled and we are seeing rather more 2nd and 3rd rated selections turning over the top rated ones. Just bear that in mind for whatever strategy you imploy.

Good luck all, wherever and whatever you are on today.

New his job on debut with good effort, raced up with pace to finish 3rd, probably more to come and should go well today!

6 from 7 at Ponte last night (3 1st Rated) 6 from 8 at Roscommon too (4 1st rated) and 4 from 8 at Windsor (2 1st Rated), so the evening cards were definately better than the afternoons! pretty good haul there, something for everyone!

Well that you don’t see too often (thankfully) 1740 at Windsor, delayed by 15 minutes because of thunderstorms in the area, then the clerk of the course decides on a standing start rather than risk the stalls with lightening around!!! 11, 2 year olds who are pretty charged and skittish at the best of times attempting a standing start, certainly hampers those leading the betting market, and the result may just back that up!!

    Stephen

Captain Ivan And Royal Dream were indeed game winners and the former at a very nice 9/1 when advised (7/1SP) but it was a bit bumpy after that, 8 winners across both cards this afternoon but no pattern, 3 1st rated, 1 2nd rated and 4 3rd rated winners, bit messy in truth. But, hey Ponte, Roscommon and Windsor all in full flow, so lets see what goodies this evening brings!

So a new week beckons and an average set of races to start a Monday. This time next week we’ll all have Royal Ascot to look forward too and I for one cannot wait for that. So lets take a look back at yesterday, the reason being it was a better than average Sunday, the ground currently is very quick and it seems to suit a lot of these potential new stars for the future – one in particular, Al Asifah at Goodwood looks a real star in the making, never raced as a 2yo but wow didn’t she show a turn of foot!!!

So, talking of Goodwood, we produced 5 winners across the card and 4 of those were top rated, so an amazing 57% top rated strike rate on the day.

Across the Irish Sea and Punchestown notched up 7 winners from the 8 races, 3 of which were again top rated, returning a very healthy 38% top rated strike rate.

3 top rated winners at Perth, winners a plenty at both Beverley and Navan but only 1 top rated coming home from both cards there.

Thanks for the comments guys about the Daily NAPs, hopefully I can continue to bring you consistent winners a plenty! Yes – terday’s winner was a cosy 3 plus lengths – nice!

    NAP of the day

    1600 Lingfield – Bobby’s Blessing 9/4

Low mileage 4yo, didn’t get a clear run last time out but did benefit from pace collapse to win on debut, looks the one to beat today!
