Morning all! Apologies for being so quiet on the forum of late (work and half term with the kids) stats will be bsck up and running on Monday and backdated for those that use them! On another note and armed with all these stats I’ve been developing a strategy that picks out the strongest contender (1st rated) and the 2nd and 3rd rated horses. The 1st is backed as a win bet 2nd and 3rd dutched to level stakes and if odds above 5/1, both 2nd and 3rd rated are e/w bets. I’ve paper traded this system for two weeks now upto last night. And surprisingly a 37.5% SR on the 1st rated and 66.67% SR on the 2nd & 3rd rated selections. Im going live on Monday and will post selections on here for you. Paper trade yourself or just keep a watching brief but thnk i might just be onto something here. At just £20 a point my profit over the last 2 weeks would have been £1355.

Just been running some quick numbers for this month so far;

These are Mon – Fri (2/5 – 6/5, 9/5 – 13/5 & 16/5 – 20/5)

541 races
228 winners (42.14%SR)
152 1st rated winners (28.1%SR)
257 placed (47.5%SR)
123 1st rated placed (22.74%SR)
124 2nd rated placed (22.92%SR)

Now statistically you have a higher chance of finding a winner on a Tuesday, 49.05%SR if you backed both selections and 35.85%SR if you backed 1st rated only.

The daily breakdown goes like this ( 1st SR is backing both selections (dutch) 2nd is 1st rated SR

Monday 36.73%SR – 25.51%SR
Tuesday 49.05%SR – 35.85%SR
Wednesday 44.04%SR – 24.77%SR
Thursday 47.62%SR – 31.43%SR
Friday 34.15% SR – 23.58%SR

Today’s Monday, 25.51%SR 1st rated, consider dutching on Mondays.

Thanks guys for taking the time with the show of hands yesterday, nice to know so many of you are plugging away trying to find an angle. To those of you currently struggling, don’t give up, share your thoughts and feelings on here, there’s plenty of old sages on here with experience and advice. There’s no magic bullet or holy grail just an inner wisdom and a bit of luck!

Ask questions, challenge those that post their tips for the day, what did they see that you didn’t! And remember there’s no such thing as a stupid question whether your a novice or been doing this for millenia!

A couple of days ago it was noted that the forum seemed to have gone quiet, so I thought I’d take a quick look at how many contributors we’ve had over the last two weeks, and it’s less than 20!
