Rob, Chelsea currently 4/6, highly likely they’ll win, but football this early in the season is highly unpredictable. Too short a price for me. 3/1 for the draw looks good value.

Chris Potterton, not sure exactly which part of Betinfo24’s email about dutching that you have issue with.

Firstly, this illustration shows that had you dutched at a particular race, and in this case Yarmouth and Salisbury you would of made a healthy profit by dutching your bets.

This email was a follow up to a piece I wrote the other day about adopting a race card mentality and chosing a particular meeting to bet on. It wasn’t advocating betting on every race in both cqrds, but had you, that would have been the outcome, Simple marketing done well, and just another angle for others to explore had they wished to.

The matched ratings are paying out today! Was watching Poisoned Berry at the start looking very keen, backed £20 @ 5/1. 5 winners today including a treble with one of my own (Jarlath) and 6 winning distance winners too. Done for the day, up over £600 today, thanks Matt.

Elisabeth as an example go to Skybet. Select any race and at the bottom of your screen you will see winning distance this will give three options.

I’ve now won 6 of these today.

If you’ve never bet in the ‘Winning Distance’ market, please do take a look, I’ve just won the first 4 races of today and 11 yesterday in this market. Odds average 7/4, great opportunity to squeeze a bit more profit.

Yesterday I wrote about adopting a race card mentality and dutching both selections to £10 level stakes whilst we ride out this tricky patch.

Well, if you’d dutched both selections at Windsor last night you’d have seen a very healthy £123.75 profit calculated to SP.

    1750 Straits of Malacca £10 @ 3/1 Lost -£10

    1750 Perfect  Pastime £10 @ 14/1 Won +£130

    1820 Curve Ball  £10@ 11/8 Lost +£120

    1820 Himself £10 @ 4/1 Won +£160

    1850 Sirajiah  £10 @7/4 Lost +£150

    1850 Website  £10 @ 7/1 Lost +£140

    1920 Persian £10 @11/10 Won +£153.75

    1920 Challow  £10 @ 3/1 Lost +£143.75

    1950 Absolute Zero  £10 @11/10 Lost +£133.75

    1950 Rock Steady  £10 @ 9/4 Lost +£123.75

    Catch you later

Does any one ever bet on just one racecard? I’m curious, because there were some excellent profit opportunities from last week. I know it depends on which card of course, but the best cards of the day for last week we’re. …

    Ripon 1/8, 7 races, 4 winners

    Notingham 2/8 7 races, 5 winners, 2 placed

    Pontefract 3/8, 7 races, 6 winners and 1 placed

    Wolverhampton 4/8, 7 races, 5 winners, 5 placed

    Wolverhampton 5/8, 8 races,  6 winners, 3 placed.

    Longest odds winners

    Parnasian 10/1, Nottingham 4/8

    Golden Sands 10/1, Wolverhampton 4/8

Nice call Rob, £100 profit to a £10 stake if it pays off, also, both come up in my ratings although Showdance Kid in the 1920 looks a likely challenger.
