Michael, this is still possible today, and on every race! It depends on a number of factors, but the main one is the bookie over round, the closer the over round is to 100 the probability for the punter is greater. You won’t win a fortune, usually between 3 to 30 quid per race, staking £100. Don’t get too excited by that last figure, because conversely, you could lose a lot more.

If anyone wants to know more on this I’ll write a blog post.
