ModeratorRob, can’t answer for worldwide racing as I don’t touch it! Far too unpredictable!
Richard Levett
ModeratorRob, apologies for jumping in on your conversation but the actual percentage of favourites winning is 33.54%, there is a variance to this, ore favourites win on the flat 37.24%, but overall it’s a third. Sad I know that right!

ModeratorCarl, Matt has asked me to ‘take the day off’, having been working in Brussels over the last 3 days, and publishing my ratings, match ratings, updating Facebook, Irish Ratings etc, I too, am spent!
Normal Service will resume tomorrow for UK and Irish Ratings, today is much needed family time.

ModeratorIf anyone is interested, we have one card over on the Emerald Isle today, and the Irish Ratings have now been published.

ModeratorRob all your selections are my 1st rated, bar Daytime Ahead at Towcester who isn’t on my radar. Nice tipping ????

ModeratorI see Matt is publishing the ratings by 12pm, I’m in a meeting then (1pm CET) so there may not be any matched today! I’ll see what I can do covertly!

ModeratorCarl probability only works in large numbers (stats, probability and quantitive modelling is my day job) the coin toss is a good example, toss the coin ten times at may come out 7 heads 3 tails or vice versa, but the more you repeat the exercise say 1000 times you will inevitably end up close to 50/50, this in mathematics is known as the law of large numbers (LLN)
Apply this to horse racing and the same will apply, here’s an example, and one that works, but again you need 500 plus results (LLN)
Bet on all TPS rated horses each way, odds over 7 and under 20. Start with say a £1 eachway (£2 outlay) and by the time you reach the 500 mark you would have made approximately £300, from an initial £2 (£200 starting bank, 100 pt, £2 stake)
Try it, guarantee it will work, sure you will get losing runs, say 5-10 on the trot, the odds dictate that, but once the law of large numbers kicks in, you will start to make a steady profit.
That ends this mornings lesson lol.
I’ll mark your papers later.

ModeratorCarl, your matches don’t add UP! Both Matt and I have Limini and Mixboy you’ve eliminated the former from my matchest and the latter from Matt’s matches!
