Ante post bet for Saturday at the Aintree festival. I’ve alrady started preparing for the next few days and the following selection at these odds represents exceptional value for a an eachway/place bet.

Aintree 1715 Vieux Lion Rouge 10/1 widely available.

For anyone interested in draw bias, the middle of the track at Southwell is significantly quicker than the rails side. so a middle draw should fayre better than a low or high draw.

    hope that helps

Jacqueline, you’re spot on as always. I only posted the matched rating comment just to see how much weight people put on these, glad to see so many. It’s important sometimes to throw these things into the mix to ensure our evolution as a group continues a pace.

I’ll continue as usual until told otherwise lol.

today, definitely a day to use the place market.

carl, going well with your double match, well done. just thinking, that if your matches are Matts and form ratings, who uses the matched ratings that I publish daily?

if no one, I’ll cease publishing and free up some time. Let me know.

the first half of April is traditionally slow! Too many unknowns with horses having not run in some cases for over 100 days or more. tread carefully, but if you look at the data, April will provide a large volume of placed selections until things settle down and we have some solid form to go on.

Carl, firstly, for your 630 bets how many have you placed per day and what is your current p&l?

Secondly, I would expect you to be in the black but a greater measure of LLN (law of large numbers) would be 1000.

For those of you who don’t as yet bet on the Irish Racing, I’ve put some stats together for Dundalk (tonight’s card) since the beginning of the year (6th January) if you’re interested!

You’ll find them over in the ‘Irish Ratings’ section.
