ModeratorChester starts tomorrow peeps!!! Excert below from RP.
Horses for courses is a well-worn phrase, but when it comes to Chester’s May meeting, it pays to think more in terms of trainers for specific races.
The opening Lily Agnes Stakes, for two-year-olds who simply cannot have any course form as this is the track’s first fixture of the year, is a perfect example.
Mark Johnston has saddled two of the last three winners, and saddles Emilia James here, while it is always a race Tom Dascombe likes to win – he has done so twice in the last seven years and saddled as many seconds. He runs Big Time Maybe.
The Cheshire Oaks is a race Aidan O’Brien has dominated, with five wins in the last ten years. In that time, his form figures in the fillies Listed race make for impressive reading: 211612511. He relies on Alluringly this year.

ModeratorTough day today, and here’s something you don’t see too often:
5 race meetings and only 5 favourites winning (1 at Ayr, none at Exeter, 1 at Fakenham, 1 at Ffos Las and 2 at Leicester) 2 of those 5 were rated horses, Storm Of Intrigue @ Ffos Las (7/4F) and Burguillos @ Leicester (7/4F)

ModeratorGood job Jacqueline! Hope you placed Warp Factor as highlighted earlier too. Placed 3rd.

ModeratorCarl if the ods are better on BF stick with it.

ModeratorDave R, this strategy uses the bookies each way market not Betfair unless the betfair place market is more favourable, you’d be surprised how many of these 8/1 etc win, and you will generally get a better return on the win as opposed to utilising the place market only, conversely, if placed ypu may get better odds on BF but not always, check first.

ModeratorSee its easy lol! Placed 2nd @ 10/1
And your first bet of the day will be…
Ayr 1400 Hee Haw currently 10/1 (drift from 8/1)Richard Levett
ModeratorJacqueline – I use a combo of bookies and rotate them so as to protect my accounts (only ever lost one, Stan James) I’ll go into more on that in a separate post later.
Fakenham 1410 Jonnie Skull currently 10/1 as I write, but there are only 6 runners, which means only two places up for grabs, normally I would swerve any qualifying selections that pay only two places and especially very short fields paying out on just the winner, however much faith you have in the selection. Of course there will always be the one that got away, but the law of large numbers dictates, over time you will win more times that you lose, and because we are using higher odds we don’t need recovery or all selections to win all the time.
As to Jonnie Skull, I will not be betting on him (he’ll win now lol) for the reasons outlined.

ModeratorGuys and gals, below are two horses running at Ayr this afternoon (both Matts 2nd rated, Six Silver Lane my 2nd rated too) that I know well (not personally, neigh) but both have been running well in Ireland, especially the latter, Six Silver Lane, who has been doing very well at Dundalk, and yes that’s on the AW, but has won here before (2015) last four starts, 3-14, 2-14, 1-14 and 3-14. Consider for place market.
Warp Factor another horse who last ran well at Limerick (5-16) again potential place money beckons.
Ayr 1500 Warp Factor
Ayr 1530 Six Silver LaneRichard Levett
ModeratorAnd your first bet of the day will be…
Ayr 1400 Hee Haw currently 10/1 (drift from 8/1)

ModeratorJacqueline, This one I leave to grow, once it reaches 10K I’ll syphon some off, I have other portfolios, that I skim the profit from to pay for my demanding kids lol (holidays etc really )

ModeratorCarl, I’m sure you’ve put him right that you can’t dip in to a system and give up after a week!
Original stakes were £2 each way (£4 outlay) once bank doubled (£400) stakes increased to £4 each way (£8 outlay) once doubled again (£800) stakes increased to £6 each way (£12 outlay) you can see where this is going, the bank does increase exponentially as at current stake level £8 each way (£16 outlay) the stake will not increase further until doubled (£3200 with a stake of £10, total outlay £20) Longest losing run to date 17, longest winning run 5, so bank management is crucial. As you can see with a bank of £3200 (£3000 profit) the risk is still only £20.

ModeratorCarl, well done, place market/ eachway betting has been in my portfolio for a long time, remember the LLN (law of large numbers) strategy (over 7 and under 20) and do you remember me doubling the bank in 24 days?
Well, that bank is now £2455, from an initial £200 bank, that’s just each way bets, whilst it uses a lot of TPS rated horses between these odds, I do as I’m sure you’ve guessed, use my Irish and my ratings too.
I know you were trialling this a while back, how did it go? or is still ongoing?
Richard Levett
ModeratorCarl, just didn’t want you to miss out on potential profit mate.
BTW, Ireland works fantastically with your place strategy.
Richard Levett
ModeratorCarl, there’s only one AW track in Ireland, Dundalk! That’s less than ten percent of a seasons racing!!!!
Richard Levett
ModeratorCarl, I see you published that too many favourites win in Ireland! Not sure where you got that information from, but its flawed, less favourites win in Irish Racing which is partly the reason it’s so hard to predict!!! Approx 30% favs win in Uk racing, 22% in Ireland, I guess Ireland is less corrupt at race fixing lol!
