ModeratorIan, point taken, but you’ve been around long enough to know that most (if not all) systems will eventually fail, it’s a fact, you know that, otherwise every punter would be living the high life.
If I can ask, regarding the 7-20, how many bets have you placed so far? the 500 quoted is a large enough sample size to measure, although you should have had several ‘bank-doubling’ steps before reaching that.
ModeratorIan, I can’t believe you are giving up so quickly!!! It always saddens me when people give up on a strategy when the going gets tough without giving it a proper airing!
There is a reason why most people never make any significant gains in betting and giving up on a system or changing it mid flow is one of them.
When I originally published this strategy I explained that bank management was crucial and long losing runs would happen primarily because of the odds we are using. if you have set your bank correctly your initial investment would never be in jeopardy even after a long losing run. The sample size you need to gauge this strategy is at least 500. Just look at Chris Potterton’s posts, he’s following to the letter and is making good steady profit (of course he would have made a loss yesterday, and the worse case scenario there is he would have only dented the previous days gains, that’s all)
Don’t give up, this strategy is purely mathematically based and works – period!

ModeratorDon’t forget, some great racing at Epsom today and the Group One Oaks at 1630, all the money is on Rhododendron (currently 5/6) Met Office have also issued a yellow weather warning of heavy thundery rain!! Typical! Going is currently good, and if it stays that way we are in for some cracking racing.

ModeratorChris – Re: 7-20 Strategy I keep full records going back to the beginning of February, these however won’t help you, mainly for two reasons.
Firstly, The results are not exclusively TPS rated horses (a lot are my own)
And secondly, and most crucially, this strategy unlike JMac’s 9+ does not filter specific races (handicaps etc) once we start filtering, this just becomes another strategy that works for a while then ultimately just tails off into non profit. This isn’t in anyway anything to do with horse racing, that might sound crazy, and beleive me you don’t even need to know anything about racing to employ this strategy succesfully. It’s all about maths and a large sample size. Mindset shift time. You will make profit and good profit at that. Just stick with it, record every horse you bet on, whether it’s 1st or 2nd rated etc.
