ModeratorA lot of rain overnight and forecast for today too, most today still ride good to firm with the exception of Carlisle – good to soft, be mindful when making your selections here.

ModeratorHi Ray, yes I place all selections that fit into the 7-20 criteria at once, use bookie accounts not BF (odds better and BOG essential) I use my own ratings too and fine tune filters to assess value selections that have a greater chance of win/place than there true odds (maths/science not form based)
Couple of things to be aware of though to help limit losing runs:
avoid selections where only win or two places being offered.
You can bet on multiple horses per race (if both selections fall into the 7-20) but generally it’s best to just bet on one as if one wins/places and the other doesn’t, your profit is limited or lost. Having said that, it’s not uncommon for a 1st rated to win and the 2nd rated to place, so the judgement is yours!!!

ModeratorMatched ratings now published, word of caution re: Windsor, all todays’s matches are pretty much 2nd rated, please consider the place market where odds allow.

ModeratorGraham – As you know I produce my own ratings which make up the difference between the total number of selections, I’ve been running this strategy since February using my own ratings and filters for horses whose true chance of winning is greater than their actual odds (this is maths, nothing to do with form of the horse etc)
Although you will get less selections per day from just the TPS ratings, it’s still a very successful strategy to build your bank, it’ll just take a little longer!

ModeratorCarl, yes and yes, total outlay yesterday was £736, returning £991, profit for the day = £255, from TPS selections alone the profit would have been £67.70 (at £16 stakes, £8 eachway) still none too shabby, and as I’ve stated many times, this strategy is consistent.

ModeratorFor those that are interested, yesterday I posted that there were 44 qualifying selections for the 7-20 strategy (in fact there were 46, I know you wouldn’t have had that many from just the TPS ratings) but to illustrate how good this strategy is the following happened yesterday:-
46 selections
8 winners (1 @ 20/1, 1 @ 16/1, 1 @ 11/1, 1 @ 6/1, 2 @ 7/1 and 2 @ 9/1)
14 placed (1 @ 6/1, 1 @ 15/2, 1 @ 14/1, 1 @ 18/1, 1 @ 8/1, 2 @ 9/1, 2 @ 11/2, 2 @ 20/1 and 3 @ 7/1)that’s 23 win/place selections from a possible 46 – or a 50% SR of at least a place! Not bad, and it’s consistent too.
