Saturday rolls around. Looks a really tough day. Ratings struggled at Haydock (heavy) yesterday but we didn't fair too badly at the others meetings. Larry would have been jumping for joy had Canny Style won the very first race (11/1) but was only beaten 1/2 length, however in the very next race, Muffri'Ha won over at Newmarket at 5/1, so no damage done! BBOTD ran disappointingly and sometimes I despair about Ryan Moore. Often a genius, but yesterday rode like a novice and moreover he rides out in Newmarket so certainly knows the track and how to ride the course. Save for the blip we smashed Newmarket overall, as we did Worcester too. Today is all about PLACE betting in my opinion. You must also consider BOTH selections given some of the prices. Dutching may also be an option.

Top effort at Bangor yesterday! 5 1st rated winners from 6 including 3 beating the favourite. We started the day with an 8/1 winner as Spoof won by a neck and that was followed later in the day with Archetype winning at 13/2sp. Only blot was our BBOTD failing to fire, but the NAP selection won (Larry will be pleased!) Saturday now rolls around and to be honest its one of the toughest Saturdays I've seen for a while. Its so tough, I've got up early to review some of the races rather than post them last night. Please heed my cautious note, its a day for the place market rather than singles and definitely betting BOTH selections by Dutching or level stakes pending odds!
