January’s Results

Good morning!

With all the weather has had to throw at us and changeable going on a daily basis, January has been a very testing month for me personally when preparing the Ratings each day. Thankfully the extra hard work has paid off and generally we've had a consistent month bagging our fair share of winners. I'd like to thank all members for their continued support and for the kind emails I receive randomly from members with notes of thanks and details of their successes. When you read a pensioner whose been a member for 6 months is using the Ratings to suppliment their pension successfully and then writes with glee that his trifecta in the 2.40 at Wincanton comes in netting him over £300 you cant help but smile. Enjoy your fish and chips supper tonight!!

Kempton have laid an extra card on called the jumpers bumper . Its a speedratings nightmare with no clue as to whether they'll take to the surface etc. We'll see how we get on! However, lets hope we find a few winners to end the month.

Good morning! We lose Lingfield to the weather so yet again we're stuck with a bottomless jump track and an AW meeting. There looks like more abandonments tomorrow and throughout the week! Whilst I continue to bemoan the conditions, we didnt fare too badly yesterday with some decent winners although I was disappointed with the BBOTDs run. He loves the mud and I'm not sure why the jockey just didnt keep up the gallop when the one out in front slowed to take a breather. That was his cue to go on and break that horses resistance. Hey ho! Good morning! This awful weather claims another meeting today as Plumpton in abandoned due to a waterlogged track and I am somewhat surprised Ayr goes ahead after over 10mm of rain falling in the last 24 hours. Its supposed to get more rain over the course of the day and fences 1 and 8 are already omitted.

With only 2 meetings, one bottomless and one AW to look at, it really feels like a slim pickings day, non runners galore and very short priced favourites in low grade races lends itself to a non betting day, but as this is a subscriber service, I am duty bound to post todays Ratings. *Be Positive Matt!

Good morning!

In and out sort of day yesterday - overall quite a few winners found. Most pleasing was 2 RFC recommendations returned over £15 csf which is a nice profit and nice also that two reasonably priced horses have come 1-2.

Disappointed with the BBOTD - Not sure why the selection ran so poorly getting 3rd overall. Definitely top rated in that race and given speed, weight and CD form against the others was nailed on for 1- 1 1/2 length win. Looked beaten with a furlong to go.

After days upon days of winning selections on SAW, we suffered our first blank. Lets see if we cant make amends today.

Good morning! We continued our reasonable vein of form yesterday with some very nice winners and I was extremely pleased how well the BBOTD won. 11/2 was best price when advised and it proved the best bet, winning by 32 lengths eased down! Cant be more convincing than that!

Sad news overnight that St Nicholas Abbey has been put down after failing to recover from colic. Thoughts go out to the owners and connections from all at TPS.

Todays Racing looks tricky. Awful weather overnight has made the jump cards look precarious and there are so many tight handicaps at the AW, its been extremely difficult to come up with some clear rated selections as many are so closely matched. Good morning! A reasonable day yesterday in which I hope you managed to find a few winners. A note of caution: Please keep to your strategies, betting plans and stakes. I bang on about consistency and long term profits which is key to success if in for the long haul. A rare day where the Rated Selections struggled a tad. Whilst the Ratings did produced winners, there wasnt the regularity of recent days, so more work to be done. Chepstow survives a 7.30am inspection, but a further 19mm of rain fell overnight and it is now extremely heavy. Every so often the Ratings has a blip day, this is where the ratings produce up to 4 horses within a decimal point and thus it can have an effect on the results. As stalwart members know, I always give a warning on such days. Sometimes we have fantastic days and others there are a few near misses. This is me being totally open honest and frank with you so if you bet today, and use the ratings you do so with your eyes wide open. Right enough of my waffle.

Good morning! A decent enough day for us yesterday. We almost went through the entire card at Plumpton with 6 1st rated winning from 7. Only Overnight Flame let us down coming 2nd! We enjoyed 4 winners from 7 over at Southwell although i am not taking too much credit for selecting La Estrella (1/25!). We snaffled 4 from 4 in the Hot Picks Selections too. Only 2 meetings today after another meeting was lost to this awful weather. Lets hope we manage to find a few winners today.
