Back from my holidays and not a too shabby performance over the day. Several 1-2s came in and though the BBOTD ran flat, we still managed to grab a fair share of winners/placed efforts - perhaps the highlight being Fitzwilly winning at 9/2 (1st rated). I was also pleased to see Rodaini beat the 2/5 shot, Hugin (predicted the forecast) Another Spencer disaster predicted and he didn't let me down!

Another relatively strong day for the ratings. We also had a strong showing for the longshots as well with Alphabetical Order, Anton Dollin and Super Florence all placing, Super Florence returning 18/1 odds. We also picked up 2 tricasts as a result - 5.15 Beverley and in the 8.20 we in fact grabbed the tricast in the correct order 1st rated, 2nd rated and the longshot making the 1-2-3. I know we might not be as "sophisticated" as Speed ratings or inform racing or the other ratings services but as yesterday proves we hit far more winners and placed efforts than them. The only let down was the BBOTD who seemed to dislike the ground. Shame as it was a strong selection on the numbers! However, if there was a silver lining, the 2nd rated won the race at 4/1!

BBOTD lost sadly - ran no sort of race which was quite perplexing given its previous run and how it split two subsequent winners. Definitely had me scratching my head. We gained another Longshot 8/1 winner with Miss Goldsmith, so that's a 18/1 and 8/1 winner in the last 2 days making level stakes betting on all, well in profit! Some good winners over the course of the day including the first race of the day when Wahoo won (Wahoo!!)

BBOTD won again nicely and we even grabbed an 18/1 longshot winner with Pensax Boy! Dorcas gave us an 8/1 winner in the 2nd race for those applying a SAW strategy or even the 90 min strategy would have give you £30 at 8/1 which would have hit most peoples daily profit target and then some!! I was pleased to see Weekend Offender win, he's been knocking on the door for ages and his rating dictated he would show up a winner in time, and at 11/4 initially it was a decent odds winner! Overall, still a hit and miss day, but Mondays aren't the best racing day and we still managed our fair share of winners.

The withdrawal of Dance to Paris made a mockery of the BBOTDs odds - it was not more than a "hack" for the horse who to be fair was likely to have won like that with the 2nd rated still in the race. The suggested double also won so whilst the return wasn't going to pay off your mortgage, it was still a win! We grabbed a 20/1 (29/1bsp) 1st rated winner last night when CHANT had us all chanting as it won well up at Newcastle. Overall we grabbed quite a few decent winners so I hope most members had a profitable day!

BBOTD won by 11 lengths (cant get much more convincing than that!) and the double also came in. With BOG we grabbed just a shade over 2/1 so a pleasing return and when I saw the BBOTD had gone from 1/2 out to 4/6 I was pleased, if not a little perplexed! A new member emailed me to say they had put £1000 on the double, so was well pleased. To that member, well done, but WOOOAH! Slow down! With all the rain about, its small stakes advised! Didn't particularly fair all that well aside from the double. Another day of RAIN forecast sees likely going changes and NRs! I've done my best to consider what the going might be like come mid afternoon and have adjusted the ratings accordingly but there has been a fair bit of guesswork applied too! Just tread carefully.

Day 1 of Goodwood we had 33/1, 50/1 and 100/1 winners and on day 2 we had to deal with terrible weather conditions which from my Bet365 account I was watching, I could see was getting worse and worse not to mention affecting the going. WOW! So Goodwood produced a 33/1, 50/1 and 100/1 winner yesterday! I'm not sure any Ratings service/tipster could have foreseen those results! Even with hindsight I couldn't see how those selections won. Bookies delight! BBOTD won nicely enough and in a round about way we grabbed the 1-2-3 in the 2nd race of the day at Goodwood but I cialis am not claiming it was a successful day at that meeting!!!

Slightly tough day at the office but I don't mind snaffling a 14/1 1st rated winner with Dubawi Fifty and we also grabbed a few decent winners where we beat the fav! A few decent 1-2 and 1-3, 2-3 for those using the place markets and whilst Al Barg won (sorry Carl) the BBOTD ran no race at all when on paper was the better rated of the 2 in the double! Guess proving horses are not machines! Today is day 1 of Glorious Goodwood. Tough festival and harder to fathom at times than Ascot and Cheltenham and even York, but we'll give it a go.
