A stunning day of National Hunt racing saw The Professional Syndicate ratings shine brightly across three venues, headlined by a spectacular 12/1 victory from Tounsivator in the Grade 2 Royal Bond at Fairyhouse.
The ratings were in particularly sharp form at Carlisle, where Caldwell Potter justified his lofty 140 rating with an impressive victory in the novices' chase at 12:55. Later on the card, Oconnell demonstrated the value-finding ability of the TPS ratings, landing the 13:55 handicap chase at rewarding odds of 7/1.
At Leicester, the ratings continued their hot streak with Indeevar Bleu (124) proving unstoppable in the novices' hurdle, while Kosasiempre rewarded followers with a 4/1 success in the mares' chase.
The day's highlight came at Fairyhouse, where Tounsivator defied market expectations to claim Grade 2 glory. Despite being the third-highest rated in our figures, this 12/1 shot proved the ratings spot-on.
A strategic each-way approach to horses rated 130+ would have yielded significant returns, with multiple placed efforts complementing our winners. TPS members following the ratings would have enjoyed a particularly profitable afternoon of winter jumping action.
