In fact I read somewhere if you were to back all his front-running horses you will make a profit!

These are selections from system I posted a couple of days ago – it produces solid win bets and is showing a profit of 17 points after a couple of weeks.

Here’s a system I’ve been using for a couple of weeks now with some success. Originally intended for place bets but produces lots of winners also. Does require a bit of research to produce selections:-
– No more than 14 runners
– Horse is clear favourite by at least 2.0 and max odds 4.0
– No more than 30 days since last run
– Ran well last race (either won or finished within 1/2 length/furlong of winner)
– Similar going to last race
– Similar distance (within 2 furlongs) of last race
I’ve also added a couple of my own filters:-
– No jockey claimer
– No odds-on
So any selection which matches with Matts should be backed to win and I also bet to place if odds are at least 1.4.
It could also form part of an acca assuming enough selections.
