So sorry to hear about the loss of your cat, pets become part of the family and it is devastating when you lose one.

The 17:05 would have been a qualifier but that race has been abandoned due to a wet patch on the course. Other races at Yarmouth are on though.

Hi Pippin,

Separate results threads would be good, Jacqueline posts results in Successful Strategies, there is a 90 Minute Strategy Stats thread and I would be happy to monitor the other handicaps in another thread. I post the named runner selections in General as whoever asked for this information asked for them to be posted there but I am quite relaxed as to where they go if we can all arrive at a consensus.

All be aware though that Friday will be the last time I post anything on this forum until 14th October as I will be away.

Thanks, I did use the basics of your post today and did a little better then £5 but as you rightly say a profit is a profit. I think I will concentrate on handicap races tomorrow, rightly or not, although I generally stick to handicaps, and when I post the runners for Jacqueline’s system I will include the other handicap races. Obviously I will ensure a clear separation from the class 4+ and others but it will give us the opportunity to examine the potential of all handicaps as Jacqueline suggested the other day.

Hi Jacqueline,

I generally stick to handicaps although I have had good successes on other race codes using Matts ratings. Had a good day today as I hope everyone else has so thanks to Matt again. As the class 4 races were a bit thin on the ground I put on a number of win / place bets following Pippin’s excellent post and did well with those too, the icing on the cake being Bloodsweatandtears £10 win (17.23) and £20 place (5.24) along with a £20 place (3.69) with Admirable Art.

Just dipping in the US racing and up at the moment so time to stop.

In all honesty I cannot claim any credit for the system or the ratings, Richard has provided the ratings over the last few days and Jacqueline devised the system, all I do is act as a messenger translating the ratings into Jacqueline’s system.
