MemberHi Carl, forgive the silly question but is ‘NRR’ the strategy listed on page 2 of the Bfbot V3 Suggested Strategies forum? Have there been any tweaks to this since posting? Cheers, Dave

MemberGood morning all,
update on how my first day using the Jockey/Trainer strategy went, ended up with 6 wins from 19 runners and a profit of about 3pts on the day. I use ‘best-price’ bookies so thats how ive calculated the winnings. Its early days and im still not sure im using the method correctly, ive got a vague suspicion that i need to be smarter with the jockey/trainer filters in Racing Post but i will carry on regardless….
If you guys dont mind i will continue posting the selections and results here….any advice/criticisms happliy received!
Cheers, DaveWetherby

Ive used the data freely available on the online Raceing Post racecards (using ‘stats’ at the bottom of each racecard). Because of this im not entirely sure ive used the method correctly, just paper trading for now….am happy to be told im doing it wrong f anyone else out there is giving it a go….Selections (made at about 10.30am) are:

MemberHi all, has anyone had any joy out of the ‘Strategy 3 Top Jockey/Trainer’ system on the Strategies page? Im giving it a go today and have got 20 selections (does this sound like too many?). One thing ive noticed is that Sportinglife.com has since changed its page format so ive used Racing Post instead…..
Any advice/comments gratefully received 🙂

MemberCheers Carl, i can feel the need for yet another trial betting bank 🙂

MemberHi, just so i get this right, Richards EW system (7.0-20) uses the Betfair Exchange EW market? If doing this manually would you wait until just before the race or when the TPS ratings are published?
Cheers for any pointers, DaveDave Roberts

MemberHi all,
not sure who the ‘real JPW’ is but ive been following ‘fake JPW’ using his trial-offer since Boxing Day, my W.Hill bank of £58 has grown to £91 (before todays tips) at £1 a point since then and I’m quite impressed so have signed up at £29.95 for the year……he claims to be nearing 900pts for the year so if that is only partially true then I will be happy 🙂Happy New Year to you all

MemberHi Carl, new member here so may be asking a silly question 🙂 – what do you mean by ‘dutch recovery’ please? What is your betting stategy?
Cheers, DaveDave Roberts
Memberwoops, that should be ‘hi Phillip’ 🙂

MemberHi Phillips,
sorry for the late reply. Ive been using a ‘stop at profit’ strategy, basically following 10-20-30etc bets until a win which shows a profit on the start of the day. Paper-trialling this in July showed me 66pts up over the month with one bad day of losing 8.5pts. The daily profit ranged from 0.12pt to 14pts and usually took 2-3 bets to achieve. This strategy suits me as ive got a job and family life to keep up with too 🙂

MemberI would also appreciate some clarification on the points Phillip has brought up…I have been paper-trialling past results on a ‘rolling’ basis ie once get a win go back to £10 bet and continue, including rolling over to the next day. It leads to good profit but also a fair amount of squeaky-bum moments, stopping at 4/5 bets would also not work with this….
