Hi Jacqueline, can i just ask about the IR bets….if they arent matched is the money lost or refunded at end of race? And are the bets only matched at the set-rate (10-30-500) or matched at the highest number reached?

Good morning all, quick question for Jacqueline on IR bets (apologies if asked before), with Betfair exchange if a winning horse is matched at 50 but actually goes to 60 max during IR do you get 60/1 odds paid or does it stay at 50/1?

Thanks Larry for the clarification. I followed the strategy today, got the winner on the 7th horse (Chicago’s star 5:00 Chepstow) at 7/2….not sure I followed the plan correctly….

Hi Larry, just catching up on the thread, saw your SAW strategy, can i just double-check that you are excluding races with less than 8 runners?

Hi, using Strategy 1 ive turned £30 into £200 with a few white-knuckle moments. Ive found the best way is to play in short bursts to minimise risk of long losing runs. Longest ive seen so far was 8 losing on ‘High’ with a win on the 9th.

Yesterday gave us 4 wins out of 16 runners and a profit of 7.3pts. I was a bit worried about the amount of selections but the value in getting those early BOG prices is clear. Lets hope that holds true today, 20 selections!

Yesterday we had 4 winners from 11 runners and just about broke even with early odds giving us 0.4pt profit. Annoyingly i later tried the Irish ratings and got 3 out of 4 wins for 3pts profit. Maybe something to keep an eye on.
