I am very much intrigued by all the stats and number crunching being applied and can I extend a warm thank you for all your continued contributions. The Forum is the best its ever been and its tribute to all of you. Keep it up!
I think it may be a good idea to add a new topic for members to park all their sharing of tips/bets rather than putting it all in the general thread. Can I ask Carl or another to start that from tomorrow?
Thanks
MattRace Card RatingsKeymasterThats Great Ray! Well done! A very nice winner!
I just enjoyed Gold Flash winning following up from Mythical Madness (9/2!) and Royal Salute 11/4
A good smattering of winners over the cards to keep us all interested!

Totally agree – Your plan is inherently sensible and as you say, you just watch it grow as each day ticks by.
Forgive me (Richard will correct me) but around 60% of the ratings place so the scope for making money using this aspect of the ratings is obvious.
As I type this, we arent having a bad day win/place wise – Work finishing 3rd at 16/1 to go with the 1st rated winner! Bryden Boy has just won at 15/8 but was around 3/1 10 mins before the off and 11/4 was readily available.
3 winners from 3 at Ayr – 2 1st rated, 1 2nd rated
Bush House just finished 2nd at 12/1sp in the 2.20 at Wolves. Another decent place!Worth noting Stan’s post!

The quotation from the Website derives from Richard who without request took it upon himself to undertake the task of analysing the results and provided the data from which Jason posted on the Site. I am sure Richard can provide some meat to the bone if requested. He is a whizz with all things statistics and can assist.
Im sure Richard will jump in here at some point and elborate.
Personally regardless of what the stats say, i would never back ALL. Its good to be selective, and those that do readily win. We usually secure enough winners throughout the day to turn a profit. The issue is whether the member has a strategy and whether they have a realistic profit target. Betting £5 is ok as long as your profit target for the day isnt £200! If your target is £20, then ok, you will have more chance than not to hit that! £20 a day turns over £7200 a year or £30 over £10,800 so whilst £30 day sounds a little low and a little boring, if disciplined and with a set strategy you will make over £10.8k net a year, even deducting the years subs, you make a more than respectible annual profit. Year 2 try to up the target and stakes to make £50 a day which would give you £18,000 a year.
If you bet £100 level stakes, then a target of £250 perhaps is more than achieveable given the strike rate.
2-3 points a day is very achievable and that would be my strategy initally in order to build a bank. Once I’m playing with the bookies money, up it. You will also have some betting history to look back on and data to evaluate.
Richard…..over to you mate!

Looks a wet day! Heavy going! Just be a wee bit careful today as heavy ground has a tendancy to throw up some very odd winners!
