Hope you’re all enjoying the winners rolling in across the service?

Race Card RatingsKeymasterThe whole purpose of the forum is to encourage debate, comment and ideas. Everyone’s opinion is valid and is taken on board. I for one, the author and founder of this service, value every member. We’re approaching 6 years of this Service. It’s my wish that this forum was used far more and members swapped tips, strategies, successes, etc.
I only ask we keep it civil, no swearing and no personal attacks. We’re all adults.
Thank you and enjoy today’s racing!
MattRace Card RatingsKeymaster2nd February’s ratings now posted. Sadly two meetings have been lost, but lets hope Sandown survives.
Richard can’t wait to get stuck into Lepoardstown – Apple Jade, Min…..wow! what a line up.
Let’s hope the Weather doesn’t spoil the day!
Good luck
Race Card RatingsKeymasterthe 150 rated ceiling applies to all racing as does the 75. I’ve devised the ratings calculations so that they are all over same scale or else it would require members remembering that a 85 flat rating was a top rating compared to a 85 jump rating which would be low.
So base figures are same for ease and continuity.
5 from 6 at Lingfield today including the 15/2 1st rated Nonios beating 2nd rated by SHD (note only 3.0pt difference in the rating – so a neck or so difference)
I hope all members can see the highest, 2nd and 3rd best from the numbers.
As for one page, sorry, the racecard format means that is unlikely.
come on chaps – how more professional does it look? Jockey Silks, name of horse, betfair odds, jockey, trainer and weight.
Surely this is better than Horse A /Horse B?The BBOTD has now been suspended. Overall it was producing a loss.
The VIP selection is still operating and is turning good profit. We only had 2 losing selections in the whole of January and we started February with an eased down success. For a few ££ extra you could do worse than joining that bolt on.Race Card RatingsKeymasterDear All
Firstly at the top the Ratings each day for 3 weeks was a link to register your thoughts on how you wanted the Ratings to be set up. The poll revealed most members preferred a full race card and the top 3 horses identified by their rating.
the figure next each horse in each race shows the strength of the horse on a descending numerical basis.
the race cards show a lot more detail with number, weight, trainer and jockey etc.
Each meeting can be clicked on and reviewed.
Richard will add his matched ratings to the Racecards.
Change does take time to get used to. I hope in time, members will come to embrace the ratings as they are now set out. The Ratings set up is in line with other Rating services.
You will appreciate that the numbers next to horses differs greatly. It would help if I put together a users guide?
The ratings have a ceiling of 150.00 the lowest rating is 50 but these will not be identified. 3rd rating generally around 75+ (1/2 of the max ceiling)
Jumps/AW/Flat all have their own rating variable multipliers given the different disciplines – one size does not fit all.
For the time being, I may, time permitting, add the old style 1st / 2nd rating alongside the race cards. if this would help, please shout.Race Card RatingsKeymasterNew Ratings from 1st February.
