OUCH!!!!
That hurt!
My second losing day – and just before Christmas!
But it showed how wise was my decision at beginning of December to change to lower staking.
If I had stayed at my original staking, yesterday would have reduced my bank from £1046 to £633, but with my new plan my bank was reduced from £956 to £853.

I see that yesterday’s selections won at line 4 with Juste Pour Nous – although it should have been only line 3 if following price guide as line 2 should have been omitted as the price of Light Of Air hardened to below 1.60.
Fruitful (& long) visit to hospice, resulting in positive steps to be taken to relieve lymphodema swelling somewhat – although no explanation forthcoming for complete lack of power in my wife’s arm. It appears that whatever is causing it is undetectable by scan, ultrasound or x-ray. We can only presume that something (possibly the cancer)is eating away at the muscles. We shall just have to live with it and keep trying any new theories that emerge during our meetings.

Tomorrow looks a bit iffy for my postings as I have now received my cataract operation appointment for tomorrow at 12.30.
If Matt is able to post Ratings early as today, I will do my best to get my selections posted even though I shall not be playing myself.
For next few days everything depends on how my eye reacts to operation. My last operation 2 years ago made most things very difficult for a couple of weeks so may have to suspend my betting operations until after Christmas. I will still try to post a short message whenever possible.
My wife is in considerable pain, especially early mornings, and her care will obviously come first. I would postpone my eye operation except that I have waited 18 months and have just managed to get a cancellation.
If I don’t manage to get back to you, I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas (not too much of the hard stuff!) and a successful 2017

I have decided, now that my bank has reached £900, (and following 2 days recently where I had to go to 4th race with stakes of around £200) to
play now at a quarter of the recommended stakes to preserve my astounding run to date.
I shall still keep my records at the full stakes just to see if I would have finished up anywhere near the one million pound 12-month target.
Having started on August 17th with a bank of only £120, I have been very lucky so far. How much farther can I push it?
I will keep you informed with what might have been.
