An update on your level stakes which may appeal to you.
I started following your advices today with a £100 bank and used 2% (£2) as my level stake for today.
I ended up with £121+ in the bank, so have made my level stake 2% of my new bank (£2.43).
As long as your bank increases your daily stake will gradually increase.
If you have a losing day, you can either decrease your daily stake to reflect your losses or, as I do, keep your daily stake @ 2% of your best bank until a profit is again reached.
    Just a thought!
Saves increasing by some of the amounts we have recently been reading on this forum

Sorry to bother you, Jacqueline, but do you back 1st rated, both rated or matched ratings?
Matched ratings have not appeared for a while because of work commitments, so how do you select?

    Oh, dear.
I let my own thoughts be swayed by postings from others.
My own selection (Tonbridge Angels) was a winning bet and would have kept the Football acca going.
    Back to square 1.
All three coups start again this morning @ £2 each.
At least this experiment only cost me £6 in total.

I have found Nofizmel’s 1.95 odds for Chelsea.
Accelerated Profit Machine have Chelsea to win in Asian handicap of -2,
So Chelsea have to win by more than 2 goals – and even those odds are no longer available . Current Odds are 1.70.
I think that I would prefer to back Tonbridge Angels @ 1.50 to beat Harrow Borough in Rymans Premier League @ 1.50, which I shall do if no footy comes through.

Both Horses and Combined accas have gone down following defeat of Hyland Heather and will start again with £2 stake.
Combined on today’s footy and horses on tomorrow’s selection

    Chelsea @1.95???????
In my view and that of all bookies I can see the odds are nearer 1.20!!

    Elisabeth.
Whenever I get a loss I start over again.
The idea is that at least some of the next sequence has been financed by the one just finished.
At the early stages it is not much, but it builds up as the sequence progresses, the intention is that with 6 winners you have completely financed the next one

Following Galatasaray success (fortunately I didn’t see result until this morning!)
I have updated my accas as follows: Racing as stated yesterday second bet stake will be £2.59.
    Football was £2 @ 1.513 winning £1.03, so next bet is £2.98 (£2 + £1.03 less 5% (5p)
Combined second bet was £2.59 @ 1.484 winning £1.25. My setaside from second bet is 7.5% of winnings, so I save 9p, making bet 3 stake £3.75.- the previous stake of £2.59 plus the winnings of £1.25 less 7.5% of winnings (9p).
As the successful bets progress the percentage of the winnings set aside increases.
If you keep a note of the percentages, you will soon get the hang of it.
Of course, you can use your own percentages, even keeping up to 50% of winnings in your back pocket if you wish. But this will obviously reduce your final returns because your stakes will be less if you take out more.
I have found this a happy medium and an interesting concept.

Following tests at hospital yesterday, I have to go back on Sep 5 for results and next stage examination.

I am quite happy to publish my stakes as I go along and how I arrive at them.
Remember that I am starting 3 new accas today.
    Football, Racing and Combined.
As I usually start new bets @ £5, I have started these 3 @ £2 each (almost paper trading)
So on Racing Acc I backed Ehtiraas for £2 @ 1.308, profit 62p. I set aside only 5% of winnings on first bet so my stake on next Racing selection will be £2.59. (£2.62 less 3p setaside towards next acc.)
My Football bet was £2 on Galatasaray @ 1.513
My Combined Acc was Ehtiraas £2 @ 1.308 (as for the Horse Acc)
Next bet (leg 2) was £2.59 on Galatasaray @ 1.484 (best I could get after race finished).
Hope this helps. Will update tomorrow am.

    I disagree, Christopher.
There are many staking plans out there which will show a huge profit after 10 consecutive winners.
With the plan I use the original stake will be ‘set aside’ after 5 or 6 winners and after that it is all profit.
After 10 winners at average price 1.50 (which is about our average on footy bets) a starting stake of 6.81 (strange amount, but must have some significance) would have produced £255 profit, but after 6 winners the ‘setaside’ would be over £9 so there is no chance of losing any money.
Even after only 5 winners the setaside would be around £5, most of your original stake recovered.
The plan that you friend has devised appears to ‘guide’ followers into a loss situation until the 10 winners are achieved.
I, personally, prefer to use lower stakes to achieve a lesser profit.

As I said a few minutes ago, Elisabeth, I have decided to play ALL fields with reduced stakes. That way I can see which is the more profitable method to employ.

Thanks for getting ratings out early today, Matt, as I have to go to hospital at lunchtime so will miss most of the afternoon racing. Hoping for a profitable evening session

    Ouch!!!
Good call to reduce stakes, Elisabeth, and good cash-out, Aaron.
I also had the 2 Madrids in a double, but didn’t cash-out (I was in bed by then!)
Fortunately, my ‘setaside’ covered my initial stake so not any actual loss.
Have decided to run 3 coups at one time.
    Footy, Horses and combined.
Reducing start stake t £2 on each and see how things go. Setting aside a percentage of winnings does ensure that I do not lose on any acca which gets 6 winners.
    Good luck, everyone today

I have followed Phil’s advice today regarding multiple bets and, using Paul’s selections, have backed them as a 10p Lucky 63 and a 10p Heinz.
Saves me 60p on the stakes and 2 opportunities to cash-out or to cash out 1 and retain other.
    We’ll see!

Great idea, Phil, and one I shall definitely consider.
I don’t often do multiple bets, except sometimes on Saturday football, but the split stakes did not occur to me.
    Thanks
