ParticipantLots of interesting betting plans going the rounds here and it’s my favourite reading matter.The staking is all down to the sp of your selections for me.I used to subscribe to the SAW service that Matt/Jason run,but the odds were always quite short,it was a standard 3 selections a day,and you could’nt really stand a few days of losses because your bank was not getting bigger priced winners going into it,and some days you had to get the second or third bet up to make a slight loss on the day.Now I know some present subscribers still use this service and use their own criteria to make good steady profits.The reason I bet with my method is because every now and again your 3rd or 4th selection wins at 7 or 8/1,like today when the second horse won at 7/2 [4/1 BOG].It was’nt a great day for the non handicap ratings in general but we got the important one home.Long term we’ll have to see,maybe I will fine tune it,but not at the expense of winners I hope.

ParticipantAlways pleased to hear from you Elisabeth,if you saw WAQT’s race,it was quite unlucky because it started out in a bad position,then when making it’s move was checked and then the door was slammed shut yet again,before getting out too late making up ground .Not good position work from the jockey and also being beaten by Murphy who had let us down in the previous race.But hey that’s life we’ve all known happen before.Waiting for Amazing Alice to save my bacon in the 5.40 Wolv.Keep smiling.

ParticipantMade my first bet,but may have to put this series of bets over 4 days,[1st races]because I’ll be driving on the motorway around that time and can’t really be stopping and waiting for results and placing bets five minutes apart, in that situation.
ParticipantChris P,you’re right there,not so bad if you’re at home but a nightmare if you are out and about as sporting life is slow to update results on saturdays,and in the past I’ve missed the winner by waiting for a result!

Hooray,Matt the Nap service bet came in again this evening,well done and credit where credit is due.Thank you.ParticipantYes that’s it Carl,and the big advantage is that because you can place the bet as soon as the ratings appear,you gain the early price which you could,nt do if backing the four selections on the same day timed so close to each other.
