Stop at a winner.
If N.R.,use reserve selection.
After the first race,if selection is 1/2 or worse,move on to the next race.Monday type racing as per usual.
Good luck.ParticipantCheers Chris, I know the method is pretty simple but I paper traded 2 versions for quite a long time. This one and another that had a 8runners or more rule, no sellers rule, only pro jockey rule etc.But believe it or not it missed loads of winners and had many losing days as opposed to my current method that rings the bell,sometimes for months on end.Strict and rules are the 2 key words.
ParticipantJust got back to my computer,but it’s success again and we stuck to the rules.Job done and decent profit made,makes little difference whether it’s the first race or the fourth race winner.Hope you were all on at 9/4 or better.Good evening!
ParticipantSorry not been fast on replies today but on the road today. Whether successful with our final bet or not,Sundays need reconsideration as though successful for months we’ve just squeaked through on numerous occasions. I’ll look into this.Shame Mcgroaty wasn’t just a bit bigger on price, did anyone get better than 1/2 on the exchange? .Fingers crossed for our last bet then.

ParticipantHi Elisabeth,I don’t use irish non handicaps as I have found the results can be inconsistant in the long term.The type of race such as the 4.50 Chester has cropped up before as it’s not listed in the Sporting Life as a handicap.It’s a 2yo race and is probably titled as a handicap in the racecard however there are lots of takes on penalties etc in the new rules on these races so my betting purposes only for my method I take the races not listed as Handicaps from the Sporting Life.As you say though,hopefully we will have had the 4 betting races before this.
ParticipantMorning Elisabeth and Stan.I stick firmly to the SAW rule on the day as this is the rule that every day has provided the long term profit over the months.I know it’s hard to do,but it is a firm rule.Good luck to both of you today.
