Michael WilkinsonParticipant
Robert I did well with Dutch staking Win bets yesterday so thought I would run the Bot on the same settings for today. However as we all know success is very dependent on the quality of the ratings. I might also start the place betting Bot and close it down if it starts losing. Did you get the BF Bot on trial? Quite an important criteria can be the control over what the Bot does if there are unsettled bets on a busy day when using loss recovery. I set mine to go back to basic stakes when there are unsettled bets. I have set it to allow 3 unsettled bets – any more and it stops. Once all bets are in a settled position it then continues the stake recovery of all lost stakes in the cycle. Incidentally I only run the Bot as an add on with the ratings as my principle betting lies in other places.
Michael WilkinsonParticipantRichard. The two hig win odds I got from yours at Navan yesterday were 2nd rated Brelade @ 20.14 and Empire of Dirt @ 17.00. Two excellent wins!
Michael WilkinsonParticipantRobert E. i did not do the place market today but used Richards Irish+UK ratings where 70% won. I was trying Dutch Win Stakes with VERY VERY good results but exceptional ratings enabled that!
Michael WilkinsonParticipantHi Pippin. Thanks for the advice. i will look into it.
Michael WilkinsonParticipantWell Carl – that Dutching set up on my Bot produced a very nice start to the day with Brelade at odds of 20.14!
Michael WilkinsonParticipantCarl I presume you mean Dutch them to win and not Dutch them to Place?
Michael WilkinsonParticipantYesterday my Bot on place betting lost over £540 on £10 stakes with stake recovery @ 25% and minimum odds for bet of 1.99. This was despite there being 42 placed in 42 races. It appears that the problem was the short odds which averaged throughout the day at 1.87 on first rated and 2.15 on second rated and the majority therefore fell below my minimum odds of 1.99. So its back to the drawing board – as they say. Incidentally the Bot only just broke even on its Win stakes based on £10 stake with 25% stake recovery.
Michael WilkinsonParticipantCarl. the Bot should allow you to select more than one horse in a race. Just select both
Michael WilkinsonParticipantCarl. I suggest you run in simulation mode until you become au fait with the Bot.
Michael WilkinsonParticipantBarry. Betfair is here: https://www.betfair.com/exchange/horse-racing
Michael WilkinsonParticipantBarry. Use one of the Exchanges. Betfair or Betdaq are best where you can do place betting with several alternatives.
Michael WilkinsonParticipantRobert. If you do get into the Bot we will hasve to see if we can get Matt to put the Ratings out in Excel CSV format. We can then load them direct into the Bot rather than have to enter each one individually as is.
Michael WilkinsonParticipantsorry – the link I put in had an extra word “Ross” added on. Should be http://www.rmclubnews.com/king-kong
Michael WilkinsonParticipantRobert E. The Bot I have used for several years is BF BOT MANAGER: – https://bfbotmanager.com/trial They are doing a 5 day free trial at the moment. Its quite complex but if you ignore all the other sports it becomes much clearer. Its also fun setting up and running a non live strategy and you can do muliple strategies for comparisons.
Incidentally if you are looking for a good source for tips then look at this: http://www.rmclubnews.com/king-kong.Ross Mihal who runs it is always coming up with new ideas which run well initially and this one is new.Michael WilkinsonParticipantMy Place betting using a Bot with £10 stake and stake recovery using Matt’s and also Richard’s Irish did not do as well as yesterday. First rated made profit of £87 and 2nd rated made a loss of £42. I also use the Bot to place £10 Win bets. This made £782 on first rated and lost £356 on 2nd rated. An overal profit on the day of around £470. Level stakes on Place bets of £10 would have produced £40 profit on 1st rated and a loss of £69 on 2nd rated.
