Robert. Those last two days were King Kong’s worst since starting. Some was recovered today on the early bet at 7/1. It is difficult to know when to stop. I have dealt with Ross’s schemes for 10-15 years now. As I might have said before he always starts well and then has a habit of tailing off. I am still ahead at the moment by over £3000 but I was up by over £4500 at one point last week.

Robert E. Will I be meeting you at the Pawnbrokers tomorrow after todays? My only big one was Gracious Tom @ 7/1.

I for one would never pass on tips that I have paid a tipster for. They make a living by researching or paying out to connections for the selections they give. Dan at Strikeline, for example, spends a great deal of effort researching his selections and gives a detailed review of each horse he gives out.

Robert E. Did you join Strikeline? He has just had another high odds winner:
    3.05 Fairyhouse Maighnealta 1/2pt each-way @ 16/1 / 14/1 (Generally guaranteed)
I’ve been following this one for a while. He looks like an unexposed handicap hurdler who is just beginning to get the hang of things properly and learning the art of racing. He is trained by the shrewd Dessie McDonagh, and I find it interesting the money is coming for him today. Anything in double figure prices is too big: he ran really well over course and distance last time out, and it is possible to argue he might strip fitter again today. I’m surprised the handicapper hasn’t touched him for that run, and he looks really well treated off the same mark today. Regular pilot Ben Dalton has no problem doing a light weight, and he looks worth backing at anything 14/1 or better on an each-way basis.

Robert E, That write up came from Strikeline Racing. Another expensive tipping site [Irish] that specialises in tipping long shot horses. If you are interested it can be found here: http://strikelineracing.weebly.com/about-us.html

Robert. These are the write ups I like. Must go down to the Pawn shop via the Bookies. lol
3.00 Sandown Back By Midnight win @ 14/1 Another race that has been priced up strangely, with three at the top of the market pretty much fighting it out as co-favourites. I think the bottom weight Back By Midnight is really good value against them. He hasn’t had many chances right-handed, but he hung right at Chepstow last time out and might just be the type who is more comfortable at this type of track. It was a decent race he contested at Chepstow, and he showed plenty of zest despite a couple of mistakes. If he comes on for that, and brushes up on his jumping for his second chase start, he appeals as attractively handicapped off OR107. Early indications are that he will make a better chaser than hurdler, and being by Midnight Legend out of a Bob Back mare you’d expect that. I made him an 8/1 shot, and was quite surprised to see double figures offered. We’ll back him to our usual stake.
