has been a bit poor on here this week which is not unexpected as if we were having success everyday the bookies would soon shut down and betting would be a thing of past…history…this will never happen because 95% of bettors are mug punters…the bookies are well aware of this and have protected their business using risk accessors and senior traders who act swiftly when they see a punter who recognizes value and is making regular profits…they seek these people out and limit the amounts they can bet thus making the account basically useless…this is why the exchange is vital for the succesful punters future

    anyway

i have been making profits just about everyday by using richards matched ratings…i can’t provide stats on here as they were not posted regular till only recently…the method is simple and you can place your bets…get on with your day and check results at days end

back all matched ratings in ALL handicaps if odds are not odds on

can’t get any more simple that…i saw a post on the general chat thread a while back from a punter who claimed to be winning big using the KISS method

he has not posted since to elaborate on his claim…i can only speculate that KISS = keep it simple stupid

i would read the method again because it is clear you are not understanding the basics…it is a really simple method when you grasp it

a very valid point jon…i had a stroke 14 months ago and am in premature retirement so have all the time in the world most days…even when out and about i make sure to have laptop and wifi close by…i respect your comment and am working on some methods where you just place you bets when you can and get on with your day…try to place your bets manually when possible but best of luck with your software

the best thing you can do is have your bets ready for your decision to keep or cancel

the best way to do this is tune into timeform radio (there is a delay in transmition so be aware off that)…also watch your betfair screen as it will tell you when they are going behind

because i do this regular i get my bets on with about 10 seconds to spare…i have been caught out a couple off times at the last second but nothing to worry about

good thing not every race is so tricky as this would create a long term headache

software ect…is all good but imo nothing beats our good old brains…had a friend whose account was wiped out recently by a bot he had not programmed proper

    good luck

    hi jon

the staking plan i use for the method is

everytime my betting bank increases by 100 pound i add another 1 pound to the stake…thus

starting with a 100 pound bank i would stay with 1 pound stakes till its 200 then go to 2 pound and stay at that till it hits 300 ect…

in the event your bank goes below 100 revert to one pound stakes…this has never happened to me but i never say never lol

the 2% method is very good too and as long aqs results are good you bank will increase rapid

coming into a dodgy time of year soon so i will stick with my safe and hopefully never sorry approach
