5 to 500 challenge update
Main bet of £46.35 went down on Thursday. Must learn more self control and not be determined to put a bet on every day !
Second ladder still going with £8.11 to be invested on something today……….but what ? Premier league looks low scoring today.
John LennoxParticipantSome of you may have seen this site before, but I think Whoscored.com is a fantastic place for all football stats/results, etc.
There’s nothing it leaves out in match reports, even down to the weather conditions. BrilliantJohn LennoxParticipant‘4 to follow’

Main ladder – A win last night takes the running total to £46.35. Tonight it goes on Seville v Ath Bilbao. Odds are below what I need but Seville need to win this game to maintain their challenge for the top spot, so will settle for the 2/9
Secondary ladder – A win in the Trophy semi-final last night takes total up to £5.79. I’ll leave that till tomorrow.

I’ve put the No. 1 stake of £27.03 on to over 1.5 at the Real Sociedad game, and the No. 2 stake of £3.60 (free bet stake wasn’t returned so starting below the fiver) on Bury v Coventry.
I’ve now got three ladders on with three different bookies in case one loses. Watch all three go down tonight !John LennoxParticipant‘4 to follow’

Yes, it’s a straight roll up. All winnings become your next stake. I’ve tried this type of challenge before and failed every time, but that was always on horses. Am thinking the over 1.5 goals footie might be safer (famous last words), but only time will tell. It’s a risky but fun way to play.
I’ve looked at both games tonight but the odds are a bit low so might leave it today, but both games definitely have the potential for a win.
It’s funny that as your stake figure increases, your caution level creeps up !I’ve decided. I’m going to start a new ladder with my free £5 bet from SkyBet and put both games in a double with that. I’ll leave the original challenge for another day.
John LennoxParticipant5 to 500 progress
Fiver is now up to £27.03, and only 12 more winning bets to get to over £500 (only 12, Ha!)
Might start another challenge with a different bookie to spread the load, or to carry on with when this one fails.
Must get over these negative thoughts. As someone once told me, luck is an attitude.John LennoxParticipant‘4 to follow’
