ParticipantHi Richard, as you know I have been a subscriber to TPS for many years and until recently I have been delighted with the service which enabled me to make an on going modest profit. However, for what ever reason the last 18 months has seen a serious deterioration in the quality of the service and the last straw was having no Ratings on Boxing Day and today, 27th December, without any explanation. For that reason I have cancelled my next 6 month subscription due at the beginning of January.
I’m not sure who is responsible for the current situation but I wish you best wishes for the coming new year. Laurie Cross

ParticipantI agree with everything you say about TPS. I think Richard as tried hard to make a go of the site, but he seems to have little or no support and its ‘going down hill’. I’m looking for an alternative Ratings system. Are you able to tell me the Ratings site you are now using? Many thanks, Laurie

ParticipantRichard, another day without any Ratings or explanation. Ive been with you for many years. I have to ask what the hell is going wrong with your site. Its rubbish and poor value at the moment.

ParticipantBrilliant. Well done Richard. Keep it up.

ParticipantHi Richard, I want you to know that your very kind gesture to publish todays Ratings on the Irish races gave me a fantastic winning day. I use the Pippa dutching system ( do you remember her on the Forum many years ago?) and had the following winners. Bellewstown 1.35 second rated won @ 9/2, 2.05 win @ 11/10, 3.10 win @ 11/4, 4.45 win @16/1, 5.15 win @10/11. Clonmel 2.15 win @ 0/30,3.55 second rated won @ 11/4.
Great ratings and I haven’t even looked at the third rated horses today. Many thanks. Laurie

ParticipantHi Richard, thanks for your speedy reply. I can understand your decision the stop rating the Irish meetings but am disappointed that so few subscribers have no concern on this matter. Your historic winning strike in Ireland over the years has been fantastic and has exceeded UK ratings also during the coming months with inclement weather expected more UK meetings are likely to be abandoned giving a greater reliance on Irish meetings. However you continue to provide an excellent Ratings service. Long may it continue. Best Regards, Laurie

ParticipantRichard why have you stopped rating Irish race meetings?. You used to have a good strike rate with those selections.

ParticipantWell said Jon and thanks. I agree with your comments. I intend to write a similiar letter next week. I have subscribed continuously since they started many years ago and I have been very satisfied with their ratings and believe Richard has done a very good job in his role in recent months. I think the lack of explanation and communication around the current situation is inexcusable. It is a deplorable lack of honest judgement to treat members this way. I hope they will quickly respond.
