James CrowParticipant
Sing Out Loud, Larry! Another great start and keep them coming……
James CrowParticipantWhat a piggin’ awful day all round- seldom seen such wacky results! Kempton with winners at 10/1, 14/1, 14/1 & 16/1…Musselburgh with wins at 25/1, 8/1, 18/1 (apart from 2 wins @ 5s), Pontefract with wins at 6/1/, 12/1, 10/1 and 8/1, Salisbury with first 2 races at 12/1, and Windsor with results at 7/1/, 11/1, 9/1, and 6/1.
Absolutely mad! What on earth happened to the form of the front runners; despite some comments about the rides from certain jockeys, perhaps it’s just down to Mondays? I fear the cards are not awash with good horses this early in the week, and like Saturdays. sometimes need avoiding like the plague.
And yes, I got stung too!
….mind you, if anyone picked a few of those winning animals, you must be in the pound seats, and no mistake.
James CrowParticipantBOOM!!! on Or de Vassey in 3.05 SEDGFIELD with the Method Bets, nice odds too! Easily covered the loss in the 1st race….
James CrowParticipantWhat a joy to see how Enable ran at Chantilly today. Yes I had a few on it, but nevertheless it was so heart-warming to see this beautiful animal totally vanquish the rest. And I know Frankie Dettori has some detractors here, but when you listen to John Gosden after the race, he gives full credit to FD for his clever maneuvering to get his mount in the best position to carve up the field when asked.
Truly majestic!James CrowParticipantHi Graham,
Ah- got it now? As it’s still in the early stages of development, I was unsure of the guidelines. So I guess if the 1st loses, we go onto loss recovery if necessary?
I’m just playing with it at present and checking it’s progress day by day.
James CrowParticipantWell, if I’ve got this FRODDING malarkey right, it’s been W/W/2/W on the U.K.races from the 1.50 on 1st rated, with 2nd rated finishing 2nd in the 2.00 Leicester with Queen of Kalahari. That’s pretty good going by my book- feet up time!
And if Pippin gets this, collected in the 1st race at Roscommon in the Dutching Strategy.
So what am I going to do with the rest of the afternoon, methinks?
James CrowParticipantThanks for the reply, Vince. Got it and also found an earlier post from Stan with the meaning of M.G.Y. (Members Group Tips).
I will follow with interest and see how things so from here onwards….
James CrowParticipantI have obviously missed the thread on this MGT Strategy- can someone tell me what it is and where to find the system? Is it a SAW with a win only bet plus recovery stakes as required? And there also seems to be several members putting slightly different choices under the Shared Tips heading- who is the leader in the results?
James CrowParticipantMatt,
Just checked the news after your post regarding the totally tragic event in Manchester and just listened to Theresa May’s response shown on Yahoo.com; what an awful act this was! Such a mindless and vile act to perpetrate on innocent young lives- and all in the name of Islam, supposedly a peace loving religion.
The UK and in fact the world must never submit to such terrorism and never will.
God rest the souls of those who we have lost, and our thoughts and prayers are with all those injured, and especially with the families of those bereaved and injured.
James CrowParticipantTo all those who post those very useful Ratings,ie. Matt, Richard, Carl, Stan, et al,
Those perhaps like me who don’t post very much ( other to moan about a bad day at the bookies!) really appreciate your valuable input. I was quite despairing as to how this week was going, what with the incessant rain, and Bingo! All faith is restored…..up £145 today with place betting. I must admit even when following the rules, I double check with ATR Ratings too just to give me more confidence, and it if fits, go with it. Sometimes I risk 2 places, and sometimes extend to 4 if odds allow, and doing loss recovery where warranted.
So keep it coming, Guys, we’ll continue to get those magic results if we persist, I am sure.James CrowParticipantGlad to see it’s not just me suffering! Like you I will be ultra-selective or lie low like many others until things stabilise.
James CrowParticipantDon’t know what the heck is happening…2 days using Matched Ratings and also today with the Irish Ratings, and in for a horrendous loss. Can I blame the change in weather, or simply hold off for a while? Great gains up to 2 days ago, and then- WHAM!!!
James CrowParticipant..sure was hellish hard going today with the selections, and even with just place betting, found you had to be very selective, but got there in the end, and stopped as advised when a reasonable profit was made.
Let’s hope for some better racing tomorrow, as some of today’s were poor with very either no real form to make you feel confident, or because of limited entries, the odds were far too short.
James CrowParticipantJust seen those posts……NRR System- what’s that?
James
James CrowParticipantThe Forum’s Matched Ratings still showing Richard’s post from 3 days ago- anyone still getting this problem? Usually use Google Chrome as my browser, and just tried Firefox, but no luck there, either!
Not having a problem with any other site, which makes me think the problem is at here….
Anyone gpt any ideas how to solve it?
