Hi Jaq I’ve tried reading that but not clear on how you can set your bets, take an sp over 4.0 and not be present. I get the setting odds at 100 and cancelling whilst sat at PC but don’t know how to do the aforesaid. Can anyone else help? P

Hi Jacqueline. When you say you back all of Richards matched ratings, does that include even where he agrees with Matts 1st and 2nd rated and is that to level stakes? Or dutching uneven stakes? Do you use separate bookies or always the exchange?

Regarding your system and using the exchange, when you pre program it, do you stake on all of your races in one go, setting it to SP? What would you do if a horse went out at under 4.0 if the SP was under or is there a way of getting around this?

If you’re sat at your PC I take it you just keep an eye on the odds prior to off and take the best ones. Presumably if there’s no chance of a horse dropping well below the 4.0 before the off and say it’s hovering around the 6.0, will you stake a few mins early to get the better odds?

Sorry to be stupid but I’m trying to understand how you play it tactically as I’ve lost every day on this system for 4 straight days 18.5 points.

Ps out of interest do you set your odds to 4.0 on the exchange and if someone takes it great or do you wait, as I believe you have said previously, to see if the odds are 4.0 plus before the off and if they aren’t you don’t bet?

Hi Jacqueline, thanks for the reply. I believe I understand the system which is very straight forward; grade 4 handicaps or better, odds 4.0 plus before the off, no bet if over 20.0. At no time prior to the off was Daphne 4.0. As I say, the highest it reached was 3.5. I checked betfair et al to make sure. If odds touch 3.75 I place a bet to allow for differences in my booky compared to yours, but Daphne was nowhere near the magic 4.0 before the off. Were you using betfair sportsbook or exchange? Maybe, if you have time, you can post where odds are close to 4.0 so others have that extra bit of confidence, as there seems to be some inconsistency and confusion. Regards P

Yes you are correct with your assumption. The ew system relies on not being too greedy, building the bank steadily. As I’ve mentioned on a feed, most of the time you’ll generate far more than 1.5% profit on bank eg today was just over 5%. I’m happy to take that and run.

On the 60/90 yes, you stop come what may at 60/90 mins or beforehand if hitting your daily target. Again, with a £1000 bank id be targeting £35 plus and stopping. I say 60/90 mins as with experience I have a feel now as to when to try and extra 30 mins based upon the ensuing races, but if I don’t like them I stop. For now, if I were you, pick 60 or 90 and then STOP unless you’ve hit your target already.

Please also bear in mind that we are entering a tricky month so just keep a weather eye pardon the pun and don’t go too big whilst you’re finding your feet.

Hi Dave, ill certainly do my best to help you. The real guru is Richard so do listen to what he recommends.

I have 4 systems running at the moment all of which are outlined in the successful strategies page. It’s been a bad day for JMAC and the 4/1 plus but my 60/90 1st rated ew and 1st rated 60/90 minute systems have returned over £100 profit today.

Try starting with a minimal bet bank of say £200. Adopt the above ew system stopping when 1.5% profit plus is achieved. You stake 2% of bet bank ew on the first rated selection and just while you climatise, stop if a first rated doesn’t place for 2 races on the bounce. Then start again the next day.

Have a look at some of the other systems too and try starting with a minimal bank. Good luck but we are here for any support and questions.?

I was speaking to our man Richard yesterday who reliably informed me that before yesterday Warwick had proven to be one of Matt’s least successful meetings-2 winners was the best from memory-and look what happened. You just never know!
