AvB/DM – job done, first race again.
Cheers Carl.
I think some of us need to go into business with Jason…haha
I have other strategies not linked to TPS that would also be worth marketing.Dean HarrisMemberNo problem Carl. You and I seem to have a winning formula and other people are liking it.
Somehow even my top trainer/top jockey strategy has been performing – thanks to Dave R for using it and letting us know how it has been getting on. I thought it was done and dusted when SportingLife changed their website but Dave has adapted it to the RP site, which is brilliant if it keeps working. It seems we have quite a portfolio going now – AvB/DM (Carl and me), TT/TJ (Dave R), 7-20 odds (Rich, JMac) – I’m sure we can get loads more added in.
Are these all on the successful strategies page?I mentioned last week about a site that allows us punters to follow other tipsters (www.tippingsports.com). I have started following a certain tipster who has been doing well recently (he had 2 winners from 4, a 14/1 2nd place & 1 UP). Both winners and the UP selection were TPS rated too so it might even perform better when matching his selections to TPS.
Here are his tips for today (they are free anyway) –
Good 15.10 Cotton Club (also 2nd rated)
Good 17.25 Quite a Story (also 1st rated)
Tipp 18.40 Steel Prince
Sand 20.40 Timeless ArtDean HarrisMemberFor those AvB/DM followers, here is the most important list of the day (SAW fans would have won and stopped on the first race yesterday) –

3. Catt 14.20 Magic Applause to beat Thrifty (1st vs 2nd rated)
4. Good 14.35 Gossiping to beat Shady McCoy
5. Catt 14.55 Mr Strutter to beat Black Bubba (1st vs 2nd rated)
SAW should have been met by now but for those carrying on –
6. Catt 15.30 Meshardal to beat Tricky Dicky
7. Catt 16.40 Arzaak to beat Scuzeme
8. War 17.05 Alberobello to beat Florida Calling
9. Good 17.25 Quite a Story to beat Danecase
10. Catt 17.45 Sir Geoffrey to beat Hit the Lights

Dean HarrisMemberHi Michael, it’s good to see a strategy working. I hope many others are alongside you and Carl and profiting from this.
Just going back to your previous question regarding Pass the Cristal – it hasn’t been double matched by Carl (see Carl’s list for double matched selections earlier in the forum). I go through each race on Betfair and look for a selection chosen by Carl that appears on the AvB market (if both 1st and 2nd rated are in AvB, I am opting for 1st rated to do better – there are 2 like that today).
There are only 9 qualifying selections I found to match today – hence my list (sometimes this can be more, but I am only going to max of 10 – it’s easy to work out if anyone wants to continue on throughout the rest of the day though).
Huntingdon doesn’t have any AvB markets and other races don’t have the selection Carl has double matched.
I hope this makes sense.Dean HarrisMemberNo problem Carl.
Job done on first race.Dean HarrisMemberNo joy from my 2 advised outsider selections yesterday.
Here are 2 for today –Brig 15.50 Rubensian

7. Hex 18.15 Apache Pilot to beat Treat Yourself
8. Hex 18.45 Cape Hideaway to beat The Doorman
9. Hex 20.50 Frightened Rabbit to beat The Pine MartinDean HarrisMemberHi Carl, have just caught up on all posts over the weekend and have seen AvB has been going well for you. Although it looks like today hasn’t been a good start 🙁
I have 2 selections for my recent ones to watch strategy –
Red 17.40 Beepeecee
Wind 20.25 SpinartDean HarrisMemberThanks Carl.
Last race has just finished so here’s an update.
7 from 10 of Carl’s (hard work) double matched selections beat their opposition in the AvB markets. The SAW came into effect in the first race.
This is how it went –
Race 1 – winner (Newb) profit target reached
Race 2 – lost (Newm)
Race 3 – winner (York) – loss recovered if carrying on
Race 4 – winner
Race 5 – winner
Race 6 – winner
Race 7 – loss
Race 8 – loss
Race 9 – winner – losses recovered if carrying on
Race 10 – winner (Newm)I have noted the courses in brackets for a few of the races. It might be possible to do loss recovery by meeting – Newbury (winner 1st race), York (winner 1st race), Newmarket (winner 2nd race, loss recovered).
As long as Carl can keep coming up with the goods, the AvB market is a good 50% chance loss recovery/SAW strategy.Dean HarrisMemberCarl, I am monitoring your double matched selections on the AvB markets, as explained yesterday. When going through the process on the other post, I was just using the TPS rated when it matched in the AvB market, and as you saw it was a nightmare, so I want to focus on when your double matched appear in the AvB market.
Here is the running order and the basis would be to aim for a PT using SAW –
1. Newb 13.30 Top Mission to beat See The Master
2. Newm 13.40 Paddy A to beat Dance Teacher
3. York 14.20 Main Desire to beat Neola
4. York 14.55 On Her Toes to beat Dancing Breeze
5. Newb 15.40 Art’s Desire to beat Balestra
(I believe this should not go further than 5 races before finding a winner, but here are the next 5 anyway).
6. York 16.05 Burguillos to beat Cymro
7. York 16.35 Carolinae to beat Hells Babe (my wife…haha)
8. Newb 16.45 Wasatch Range to beat Splash Around
9. York 17.05 Major Jumbo to beat Comprise
10. Newm 17.30 Captain Bob to beat Rockley PointHope it works 🙂
Dean HarrisMemberMany Dreams (won @ 7/1) are coming true at the moment. Just 1 from 6 but enough to cover the losses and make a small profit.
