Dean HarrisMember
Hi Carl, thanks for pointing out the form ratings comparison to my selections. 3 1st rated and 1 2nd rated matching. I must be doing something right, just hope they are all successful.
Dean HarrisMemberDoes that also make you a BIG FELLA? (thanks Carl)…haha
Selections will go on here instead of competition page from now on. Makes sense as it’s members tips and there is no more competition just a massive team of good people.
For today I have:
Wolv 14.40 War at Sea (double stake)
Carl 16.10 Blakemount
Wolv 16.20 Pushkin Museum
Ling 16.35 Groundunderrepair (double stake) & Not Never (small cover stake) – dutch or RFMight consider a lucky 15 on these (w/o Not Never)
Dean HarrisMemberTo Elisabeth,
Firstly well done on your Goliath. I wasn’t on but have seen other posts.
Secondly just read your post from 2.26pm about Navan 3.40 Rightdownthemiddle and I hope you split your stakes (sorry, just had to get that one in…haha)
All the fun of the pun ?Dean HarrisMemberWelcome back Dave & Bob – hope all is well work wise/health wise for you both.
I’m interested in over 1.5 goal betting and especially the staking plan.
Welcome to Stuart too. This is the place to learn and if you don’t understand something don’t hesitate to ask as someone on here will know the answer.
I only advise on weekdays and already I can’t wait to get back on it tomorrow.Dean HarrisMemberSorry Carl, had to have a look at odds of the winners and found they only come to 25.2pts at ISP.
2 winners were odds on (I didn’t check odds of all selections so don’t know if any odds on selections lost) – is it worth avoiding odds on shots for better value returns on less bets?
Just a thought as I think you have something that you can make profitable.Dean HarrisMemberMorning Carl. Re: your post 7.40am
‘That was 10 1st and 10 places from 27 horses ..not bad ?’Sorry maybe I misread but I count 31 horses??? Also what were the odds of the winners – does the return cover 31 bets?
30% SR is not to be missed as long as ROI is positive too.
Dean HarrisMemberI hear ya Jacqueline. I’ve not been on many forums so I can’t empathise but I think I remember getting kicked off the gg.com one once for advertising some tips. Have never been back on since as I didn’t think I was doing anything wrong & they didn’t deserve my time.
But as for how this forum goes, I’ve become embroiled over the last few weeks.
I’ve been a member for a full year now & have always kept a record of Matt’s ratings along with info from SportingLife to create a working strategy.
I now have something that makes me contribute but it’s not just this that’s got me hooked, it’s the team behind the forum & the people that post regularly. There is always good advice but also fun stuff.
Like Alan, I also had Chinese with my family tonight & while I was eating I was flicking through the comments. It’s now gone 1am & I can’t sleep so I go on here to get any updates I’ve missed.
So I just want to say to the regulars that we can keep this going for a long time if we continue what we do.
To any newbies please say hi & ask for help from the regulars.
And to any other old timers (in Membership terms of course) don’t shy away from adding your tuppence worth. Join in and have fun.
Let’s keep the quality going forever.Dean HarrisMemberNice one Chris B. That’s 2 of us & well done for getting 5. Was that when it was 6 or since it’s been 7?
I have created a group/league so if anyone is interested they can join in through the game – go to leagues, join game & use code
847PLTEI’ve gone with all 1st rated selections today.
Dean HarrisMemberHey everyone, does anyone else do the Pick 7 via SkyBet at all? I do it every week although I’m useless.
Just thought that maybe if there’s a large consensus of people interested, we could create a new thread on here for it & also create a group through the Pick 7 app.
Show some interest and let’s have a go at it together. We’re bound to have some chance if more of us do it – its free to enter and it was a £10k prize when pick 6 but now it’s £50k so more to share between us.Dean HarrisMemberGood luck with your acca Jacqueline.
Have you put this on with a bookie offering acca insurance?
I only ask because although PSG are the top French side, after trouncing Barca and needing to defend that next week, they might not be at their best over the weekend for resting purposes.
I hope that’s not the case for you though 🙂Dean HarrisMemberHi Carl,
Here are my selections for the FA Cup –
Burnley to beat Lincoln City
Man City to beat Huddersfield
Middlesbrough to beat Oxford Utd
Leicester to beat Millwall
Chelsea to beat Wolves
Spurs to beat Fulham
Man Utd to beat Blackburn
Arsenal to beat Sutton UtdDean HarrisMemberFootball fun – I’ve gone for an ALL PREM multiple over the weekend. 8 prem teams all playing lesser competition and they are at a stage where lower teams are unlikely to progress (unless they were playing each other).
Stuck a small stake on doubles, trebles, four folds, five folds, six folds, 7 folds and an 8 fold – otherwise known as a goliath. Then stuck a bit more on the 8 fold to increase the returns if they all win.Dean HarrisMemberHi Ian, in response to your Arsenal/Bayern Munich query, this can only be done on Bet365 when they offer the £50 in-play refund.
Basically what Tom has done is cover all 3 result possibilities (double chance pre-match and draw in-play) and if your in-play bet loses, you get the £50 back plus the winnings on the double chance. If the in-play bet wins, you lose both stakes but get a higher return for more profit.Hope this helps.
Dean HarrisMemberHi Robert, good to see my strategy being used profitably. I had a couple on last night too. Stake now increased to £6.16.
I was watching a game from an odd league yesterday that went into stoppage time at 3-1. The away team scored to make it 3-2 in the 93rd minute so sometimes it might be worth waiting until the 94th minute just to make sure. Even if missing out on some games, there will always be others.
I remember Liverpool scoring in the 95th minute in one of their games earlier in the season, but that was at 0-0 so there was always a chance of last minute attacks.Hi Stan, I have dug deeper and I see what you mean. I found the following qualifiers for Saturday though.
Corners over 8.5 shortlist of 18, over 9.5 shortlist of 3.
Selections for corners over 8.5 –
UK League 1 – MK Dons/Fleetwood
Argentina Primera – San Martin de San Juan/Huracan
Argentina Primera – Banfield/Boca JuniorsOver 1.5 goals shortlist of 34, over 2.5 goals shortlist of 2.
Selections for over 2.5 goals –
Swiss Super League – Lucerne/FC Thun
Swiss Super League – Young Boys/St GallenI will look deeper into the percentages as it might be worth focusing on the 100%’ers for over 8.5 corners and over 1.5 goals.
Dean HarrisMemberYou’re welcome Jacqueline. Look forward to Xmas even more now…haha
I’ve been looking at angles on the AdamChoi website and thought I’d look at the following.
Corners over 8.5 filter –
1. Shortlist any matches where both home & away are over 80% for over 8.5 corners. Do not include a match if only ONE of the ALL is selected (see #2)
2. Any matches where home & away & ALL is over 80% for BOTH teams only (eliminate any matches where only 1 team has over 80% for ALL)
3. Include any matches with 100% for over 8.5 corners too
Now filter by over 9.5 corners and eliminate any matches from the first shortlist that don’t match any of the above 3 criterias.
This should give a final shortlist.Over 1.5 goals –
Same 3 criteria as corners for first shortlist.
Then filter on over 2.5 goals & do the same eliminating any from the first shortlist.
Any remaining matches should qualify for over 2.5 goalsWorth a shot (pun intended)…haha
