Appropo of nothing really
Had anyone else noticed we are still on GMT on here?
Just my obsession with detail!
Keep going everyone. I really want us all to succeed what ever level we’re aiming for.
CheersChris Baker
ParticipantSorry all
Should have read solidness of our forum.
Big fingers!!!Chris Baker
ParticipantHey Robert
Steady on, for a moment I thought you of all people sounded down beat there!
Rule 1: collectively the bookies will never be beaten. Too powerful, too much info.
Rule 2: never believe all jockeys and trainers are honest. In actions or words.
Rule 3 in other sports see rule 1 although I think there is some mileage here as they’re not always so on the ball so to speak.
But and its a big BUT the only way way forward is to differentiate from the herd, work hard, be disciplined (my hardest part), play the margins even if narrow, aim long term, keep under their radar. With the sort of info we have (Matt’s ratings) and others, the streghth and silliness of our forum, I really believe we can succeed.
Keep up the good work all and let’s get stronger together.
PS Sunday’s are often bad because the racing in UK is usually so dire. Have a look at Ireland on Sunday’s sometimes. And have much fewer bets. Be selective.
Cheers all. Good luck as always.

You are a marvel! You need sleep. Ha ha look at my reply time.
Couldn’t take advantage yesterday unfortunately, a grand daughters X 2 day and mother +85 today outings but trying to keep up.
Waiting on a short priced footie treble (sorry wasn’t able to share) but Nicaragua need to beat St Kitts and Nevis! What are we like?
Cheers everyone. This is a marvellous forum.

ParticipantWell done Neil.
But as Matt always says these are ratings not tips.
I used them abysmally today! Serious serious losses. BUT all my own fault.
There’s a winner in every race!
I’ll be back when I’ve stopped beating myself up!
Cheers all. Be lucky.

ParticipantGood man Ian.

Firstly as always thanks for your marvellous contributions.
Went off piste a bit today and cost me dear but hey ho.
Your race choices for tomorrow could you remind me please whether it’s Matts first ratings only or covering both or some other strategy?
Many thanks
Chris B
PS Ian. You keep in there ol chap. Lot of life left in that ol dog I suspect! CheersChris Baker
ParticipantHi Chris
Do you really mean £6.81 for the nap?
Thanks

ParticipantThanks all for your responses.
No bet for me.Chris Baker
ParticipantStill not sure where I’m supposed to go. Probably follow Elisabwth as getting close now.
Chris Baker
ParticipantSorry guys
I can’t work out what the bet is and more importantly stakes after this afternoons loss.
Clarification would be v welcome.
Cheers. Chris B
PS hope we’re not getting to too many cooks ….Chris Baker

Staking plan definitely for me otherwise don’t quite see the point.
I’m also ok with both horse and footy suggestions. Neither are compulsory!
Keep up the good work. I think it’s interesting and a bit of fun. Long term profits are the goal not a quick fix.
Cheers

ParticipantHi Chris
Sorry to bother you on day off.
Are we going for Elisabeth’s footy? If so what stake does “the machine” say?
Thanks
Chris BChris Baker
ParticipantThanks Chris
No gripes whatsoever. What you’re doing is great.
Just interested in the mechanics of it all.
Loving the forum. Thanks all.

ParticipantHi Christopher Ellis
Surely if we split the stakes it defeats the object of your system?
Shouldn’t the football stakes be dependant on whether the horse wins or not?
I realise that means we could be increasing staking levels but that was inevitable if you’re going to have two bets a day rather than one nap.
Thoughts?
Cheers
