Good day again yesterday, 7/20 performed well as did all the other methods I follow. 4/1 Plus was a real heart stopper with frantic activity going right down to the ninth bet when I had to dutch Birchwood and Remarkable £45 each, Remarkable returning at 10/1, giving a profit of £90 on the day! Plenty of action on 7/20 today too.

Stan, you are right about that, but I read so much on here about people not liking any kind of loss recovery that I thought I would see if there was a profitable angle on flat betting to level stakes.

Hi Pippin and Graham. Regarding 7/20 I usually go through it as early as possible, now the night before if I’m awake! When I can I monitor anything in the 9/2-11/2 bracket to see if it drifts, many do and its not unusual for them to win and often place, but I do stick to 7/20. I cant always monitor the prices, so just have to stick with what I get early – this has been improved by the night before ratings, so I’m generally on by 8 in the morning.

I forgot to add that for any one that wants a flat staking system, how about this. Back Larrys first runner, (that is the first runner in Larrys method – I don’t know if he has any horses in training!) its as simple as that. I still do Larrys full method, but also started a separate bank to try this. O the first of this month I started with £75 betting £7.50 on each runner. At the start of play today the bank stands at £144.36. It is my intention to up the bet to £15 when the bank reaches £150.

Graham, I’m afraid my results don’t match yours so I’m not entirely sure where you are going wrong – have you included the Irish all the way? It does get frustrating at times, but my experience is that if you stick at it the slow periods will be outweighed by the big days, I started with £100 bank which is now nearly £2000. Have you increased your stakes pro rata with any bank growth?
Fantastic day for me yesterday, my 4/1plus in at the second attempt, Larrys method first bet, Stans 123 early doors and good profit again on the 7/20. Stick at it and don’t deviate and you will succeed.

Richard Levett, your Irish ratings just thrown up another little belter for the 7/20 in the shape of Upgraded. Considerinf I thought it a quiet day, its turned out to be another really good day! And so far down to the Irish!

Yes, indeed Richard, looks a bit quiet on that front today though. For those that don’t like recovery staking, flat betting the 7/20 method gives a long term profit with quite a bit of action and you should start with small stakes (0.50p e/w?) and build up, so wont break the bank. Stan, always look for your list!
