ParticipantI hope anyone following the trixie spotted the(not so) deliberate mistake! Today’s stake should be £67.50! £28.75 AB, £28.75 treble and £10 BC, retaining £28.75 for tomorrow to complete the AC double. Sorry, obviously still half asleep before!

ParticipantDay 2 of the rolling Trixie, 2-00 Perth Cesar et Rosalie £96.25 win @ 6/5 with Sky bet (£86.25 returned for yesterdays 15/8 winner, plus the remaining £10 for the BC double).

ParticipantI am going to try rolling Trixies for a week using Larrys non hcp first race only. First leg of a £10 Trixie today is 1-40 Ascot Curiosly. Stake to cover treble and two doubles, so £30 win @ 15/8 with Stan James.

ParticipantFirst three non hcps are a bit close together, hope the first one wins!

ParticipantGoing a step further with Larrys method and using just the first non handicap, how about rolling a trixie over three days?
Day one or horse A if we imagine a £10 trixie, we stake at £30. If it wins @ 2/1 (for the sake of ease) we have £70 going on to day two horse B (£30 in the double with horse A, £30 for the treble and £10 for the double B and day three horse C. If horse B wins also at 2/1 we have a win double and pocket £90. We place £90 on horse C, day three, for the treble, and £30 for the B C double. Looks complicated but isn’t really. If one loses we still pocket a double, and the strike rate of the first horse is high enough for maximising profits in this way, or at least it looks so to me.chris potterton
ParticipantFair comment Carl, I was thinking about Larry’s 1,2,4 8 staking and applying that to James selections forgetting his target profit.

ParticipantI can’t understand how people are losing so much, other than the pitfall that is loss recovery, which I tried and failed at!
Be selective, if you are happy to make tour profit and go, follow Larry, he has posted an excellent SAW strategy that works really well, if you like a lot of bets then you need to think long term and maybe follow the 7/20 method, this is a gem, and grows a bank like you would not believe but it doesn’t happen over night. James prize points strategy is another SAW beauty that makes money. Maybe you could try using two or more methods for variety? The ratings are not tips as such, so you need to be selective, and a final note – there is no get rich scheme ANYWHERE!!chris potterton
ParticipantAnd now seventh heaven, Fit for the job obliges!

ParticipantLooked a bit of a bleak day for 7-20, but then Bronze Beau, first rated does it at 14/1!

ParticipantBelting day, trixie landed and what about the forecasts, especially the last at York! Cheers Matt.

ParticipantLarry, it is about respect for fellow users, I thought that this was a community of people with all manner of beliefs united by a common interest in horse racing. Out of respect for their opinions I would not use the prefix stinking to describe any party should I feel the need to mention one. I believe any one is entitled to their opinions and to air them, but I dont see the need to be disrespectful about it, that’s all.

ParticipantLarry, your post was more offensive than humourus, and totally unnecessary.

ParticipantI wish people would keep their politacal opuinions to themselves, this forum is about horse racing is it not?
