    Mondays EYECATCHERS

    1530 Leicester – Avoid DeMaster 13/8

May have made winning stable debut but for being hampered at the last, still relatively unexposed, should find a race soon!

    1700 Kempton – Sargasso Sea 6/5

Green early on debut, but flew home once the penny dropped! well bred and can improve here!

    1710 Wolverhampton – Top Fox 11/10

Very green on debut but another once the penny dropped found more, ought to come on plenty for that.

    1930 Kempton – Glencora 2/1

left at the start and forced to make up significant ground last time out, met trouble but not knocked about, can do better here today.

Our EYECATCHER yesterday gave a good account of himself, but beaten by the favourite in the end!

    Thursday’s EYECATCHERS

    1220 Newbury – Tomorrow Mystery 6/4

Fine effort when returning from long lay off last time out, should remain competitive in both codes!

    1230 Market Rasen – Fivetotwelve 10/1

Big improvemnt on second start, outpaced before flying home, more to come, can take a race over this distance.

    1247 Thurles – All The Chimney’s 5/1

On fair mark and flew home last time out having been cut adrift after being hampered by early faller, can make amends today!!

    1440 Nottingham – Call My Bluff 9/2

Hugely progressive in staying races, relished stamina test last time out, more to come and worth keeping on side.

    Tuesday’s EYECATCHERS

    1540 Redcar – Cockalorum 2/1

Generally consistent, thrives on soft ground, should have won by further last time out, can follow up under a penalty.

    1555 Exeter – Airgead Suas 6/1

Badly outpaced before flying home on handicap debut, unexposed and worth following when upped in trip!

    1845 Newcastle – Starfighter 7/1

Consistent type, unlucky last time over inadequate trip, still on a workable mark, could strike here!

So Melburnain couldn’t quite make the places finishing 4th at 20/1SP, but a cracking winner in Palm Beach at 3/1SP, Sea Of Dawn in the minor honours, but once again a good showing from our EYECATCHERS, which are after all those on the fringes.

A non runner and a 9th place yesterday, although to be fair the latter ran a hot race and only 4 lengths from winner to 11th in 12 horse race, so definately one to watch in the future (Starter For Ten)

    Thursday’s EYECATCHERS

    1555 Listowel – Melburnian 18/1

Not asked any serious questions on both starts since return, remains on a workable mark and should improve here on heavy ground!

    1630 Listowel – Palm Beach 6/4

Green on debut before staying on well, this might be the race if not too soon.

    1640 Listowel – Sea The Dawn 11/4

Outpaced before staying on strongly on return from long lay off, on reasonable mark and should win soon!

    Wednesday’s EYECATCHERS

    2000 Kempton – Starter For Ten 9/2

Still lightly raced in process of running a big race when meeting trouble last time, can improve here.

1,000,000gns Gosden debutant out of brilliant race Mare The Fugue and outstandingly successful sire Dubawi, very exciting newcomer!
