Wednesday’s EYECATCHER
1700 Kempton – Royal Castle 7/4
Green early but significant late headway on debut, from top yard and should improve, winner in waiting!!!
January 15, 2020 at 10:23 am #31260Richard LevettModeratorWednesday’s EYECATCHER
1400 Punchestown – Commander Lady 5/1
Second start over hurdles and a step up in trip which might suit, booking of Robbie Power up top significant.
January 9, 2020 at 9:28 am #31248Richard LevettModeratorWell it was a big ask for Astro Jakk to run two career best races 24hrs apart, but we’ve seen it done before and there was a lot of market support for him. Nothing as yet so far today, but keep checking back!
January 8, 2020 at 9:27 am #31245Richard LevettModeratorWednesday’s EYECATCHER
1400 Newcastle – Astro Jakk 7/2
Rain career best at Southwell on Tuesday, and if repeating anything near that today will be hard to stop, wears head gear, good jockey and trainer in good form!
January 8, 2020 at 9:09 am #31242Richard LevettModeratorWell it wasn’t to be 2 from 2, Coolagh Magic was an each way shout but unfortunately was never really in the frame! Bridle Loanan on the other hand 8 length winner at a smashing 6/1SP at Lingfield – get in!!!
January 7, 2020 at 2:15 pm #31241Michael WilkinsonParticipantYes indeed. Thank you Richard. Now lets see if you will be 2 out of 2. Hoping!

January 7, 2020 at 9:08 am #31238Richard LevettModeratorTUSDAY’S EYECATCHER #2
1745 Southwell – Coolagh Magic 7/1
Form going the wrong way lately but his best has come here so not without an each way claim!
January 7, 2020 at 8:52 am #31237Richard LevettModeratorTUESDAY’S EYECATCHER
1345 Lingfield – Bridle Loanan 10/3
Opened at 10/1, makes chase debut, likes fast ground so not proven on heavy here, proven at this trip, very good jockey, place claims if not going better!
December 6, 2019 at 10:50 am #31202Richard LevettModeratorA nice winning EYECATCHER yesterday, hopefully we can follow it up again today!
1445 Sedgefield – Calivigny 2/1
Very well in for latest success and returned to best winning virtually on the bridle. Will take an almighty hike in the weights to stop a follow up!
December 5, 2019 at 3:38 pm #31199Laurie CrossParticipantA very good call Richard. Bless-you.
December 5, 2019 at 10:20 am #31198Richard LevettModeratorToday’s EYECATCHER
1505 Leicester – Wenceslaus 2/1
Off the mark at Plumpton on last chase start, previous 3rd very strong form, up 6lb but more to come, should prove tough to beat today!
December 4, 2019 at 10:44 am #31195Richard LevettModeratorToday’s EYECATCHER
1520 Lingfield – Capricorn Prince 4/1
Consistent type, effective on the AW, wears head gear for the first time today, has a good chance.
November 27, 2019 at 11:51 am #31187Richard LevettModeratorToday’s EYECATCHER
1515 Hereford – Perpignan 7/1
Each-way chance, good hurdler and usually jumps well, top jockey, step up today and should act on soft ground!
November 25, 2019 at 9:28 am #31179Richard LevettModeratorTodays EYECATCHERS
1425 Musselburgh – Sporting Press 5/2
He’s an odd one but stay with me on this – Form very in and out but acts on good to soft, not the most fluent jumper and pulled up last time out. Keith Dalgleish has a good record here with his runners and jockey Danny Mcmenamin claims a further 5lb, not without a chance and opened at 6/1 so currently there is market support – add to your watch list!
1900 Chelmsford – Invisible Storm 7/1
Probably best as an each-way chance, loves the AW and is proven at this trip. Wears headgear for the first time tonight, returning from a break so may just need the race.
