Well I did say watch the market for pointers at Roscommon yesterday and our selection didn’t attract much support and subsequently finished 10th!
Three to keep an eye on today……
Wednesday’s EYECATCHERS
1545 York – Just In Time 12/1
Travelled well in hot race back from long lay-off, progresive stayer prior to that, should improve today, again watch the market for pointers.
1630 Bath – Storm Melody 5/2
Travelled powerfully when denied a run last time out, very well treated and could be ready to strike at similar level today.
1650 York – Pure Dreamer 9/2
Nice type, couple of good runs so far, looked like needed the run on debut over 6f and then need the 6f second start when running at minimum trip! Looks the type to win races – perhaps today?
August 18, 2020 at 8:14 am #31691Richard LevettModeratorTuesday’s EYECATCHER
1915 Roscommon – Universal Focus 15/2
Running well in defeat and badly hampered when making ground last time out, likely to remain competitive at this level, market watch for indicators.
July 27, 2020 at 9:57 am #31672Richard LevettModeratorMonday’s EYECATCHERS
1730 Windsor – Zoffarelli 9/4
Ran on well when all but winner faded off fast pace here last time. Good debut in whats looks a useful race. Unremarkable type but could be in the mix!
1930 Windsor – Burano Boy 7/1
Improved effort on handicap debut where a touch unlucky not to place, looks on reasonable mark and should strike soon – chance today!
July 25, 2020 at 9:47 am #31668Richard LevettModeratorSaturday’s EYECATCHERS
1340 Newmarket – Dhahabi 15/8
3,100,000gns half-brother to golden Horn by Frankel. Debutants don’t get any more notable than that!!!!
1350 Ascot – Summa Peto 20/1
Deserved to topple odds-on fav last time out going down by a short-head. Extremely game and will progress over 1m.
July 17, 2020 at 9:42 am #31655Richard LevettModeratorExcellent, both EYECATCHERS returned yesterday with a winner at Sandown and an impressive 3rd place for Ayr Poet at 10/1SP bringing in each way money.
Nothing further for today.
July 16, 2020 at 9:53 am #31654Richard LevettModeratorTwo today…
Thursday’s EYECATCHERS
1600 Hamilton – Ayr Poet 9/1
Improved effort on handicap debut on return from break, should find race very soon off this basement mark, perhaps needs further!
1830 Sandown – Knight Salute 11/8
Stayed on very well on debut against useful opponent, should improve especially over further than 7f.
July 4, 2020 at 10:06 am #31633Richard LevettModeratorWell a massive market drifter for Noddyolder yesterday out to 40/1 from 9’s but he still ran a credible race to finish in 5th place. Still a future winner, add him to your watch lists!
No EYECATCHERS today guys.
July 3, 2020 at 10:42 am #31631Richard LevettModeratorSo, so close yesterday missing the line by a neck!!!!
Friday’s EYECATCHER
1300 Haydock – Noddyolder 9/1
Improved from debut when an unlucky loser last time out, capable of better and should win soon if not today!!
July 2, 2020 at 10:46 am #31628Richard LevettModeratorYesterday’s EYECATCHER was an early Non runner, one for today to keep your eyes on…..
Thursday’s EYECATCHER
1750 Bath – Star Of Wins 5/1
Lost significant ground at the start and ran green before staying on on debut, likely to progress and up in trip today.

July 1, 2020 at 9:37 am #31624Richard LevettModeratorA very credible 3rd place from both EYECATCHERS yesterday.. One for today….
Wednesday’s EYECATCHER
2045 Kempton – Martineo 7/1
Travelled strongly but had run checked multiple times on reappearance, remains on workable mark and could make amends today!
June 30, 2020 at 10:47 am #31622Richard LevettModeratorTwo to keep an eye on……
Tuesdays EYECATCHERS
1530 Doncaster – Thumur 10/3
Had no run at key stage when travelling well on debut. Very nice type and looks certain to go close soon!
1930 Chepstow – Speedful 6/5
Stayed on well from fair mark on debut. Good attitude and looks ready to score on second start.
June 15, 2020 at 11:04 am #31592Richard LevettModeratorI did have an EYECATCHER for you but its now a non runner!!!
Back tyomorrow.
June 14, 2020 at 9:09 am #31589Richard LevettModeratorA nice winner at Newbury yesterday.
No EYECATCHERS today, back tomorrow!
June 13, 2020 at 8:51 am #31587Richard LevettModeratorTwo placed efforts for our EYECATCHERS yesterday… two more to look out for today.
Saturday’s EYECATCHERS
1500 Newbury- Franconia 9/2
Stayed on late over 7f at Chelmsford on debut, likely improver, top yard and should in the fullness of time prove tough to beat!
1525 Doncaster – Tricorn 16/1
Ran well for long way on return from break and over a trip further than ideal. HAs dropped in the weights and could benefit from the run.
