Carl re Pippins strat, you’re right – I overlooked that point!! But keeping within her guidelines of 3 places bet odds bet 1.6 and 3.5, 6 horses plus using the ratings with a little encouragement from some other tipsters, it worked out well! Thanks for the cautionary warning! I’ll re-visit with higher stake(s).

Incidentally you used to post tips from BETTING CONSULTANTS which did very well. I can’t trace a web-site for them – do you have this to hand? Thanks.

Tentatively followed Pippins place system today – only did 4 races late afternoon but a 100% return record. 3 firsts and 1 second, my bets 3 x 3 places and 1 x 4 places. Small profit in monetry terms but a 91% return on stake net of comm. Can’t be bad!

slightly better day on the horses and thanks to you all on the forum for putting up your choices and allowing me to use your ideas as im new to this i hope you dont mind me picking your brains as i haven’t got any strategies to put up yet in return

im still not sure if i should go for Lucky 63, Goliath, trixie, 4/5/6 folds or straight betting anyone with ideas would be welcome the trouble is you all have some fantastic plans

hibernian over 1.5 100% over all 60%
hearts away 100% over all 80%
now on the over all list hibernian are in the bottom half of list ,but hearts are in middle to top half so for me that would be a qualifying bet

So we won’t get rich on todays Lucky 63, 3 winners and 2nd and 3rd place but Shan Dun Ngall still to run at Kempton. If he wins it’ll be a profit, my £49.77, 63 bets of 0.79, will return £92.96, a profit of £43.19.

So if we get the fourth winner, I’ll repeat the exercise again tomorrow if anyone’s up for it.
