Dutch strategy worked again with first race coming up trumps - in fact a 1-2 for the ratings. Despite that, i think its fair to say a strange day with some really big priced outsiders at 80/1 and 50/1 coming good. I was especially pleased with the ratings picking the 3.05 14 runner handicap winner (Golden Whisky 7/1) However as equally annoying was our BBOTD got overturned when really on the numbers it was a penalty kick. Just goes to show, Mondays are not to be overly trusted.

As predicted given the tight spread I was watching 4th 5th and 6th rated winners roll in. In some races there was only 6lb across the field. BBOTD won though and we even grabbed the 1-2 in that race.
Friday's racing looks similar with poor quality racing and several poor horses on RPR coming out on top in the Ratings so again caution advised.

A decent start to the new year with plenty of nice priced winners and some really nice 1-2s to boot. At Southwell we had to wait until race 3 for a winner but we then went on a run where all 3 first rated won, at 5/1, 5/1 and 7/1 . In the 2.55 we even bagged the 1-2 with the 2nd rated coming in 2nd at 9/2. We started the day at Fakenham with an 11/1 2nd rated winner over the 2/11 fav (bagging another 1-2). BBOTD also won and in that race we grabbed another 1-2! Loads of placed efforts as well to keep all strategists happy.
