BBOTD won like a horse to follow and we had a number of decent winners throughout the day and evening. We continue to push the envelope as a Service - Pippin, Carl, Stan, James, Robert, Richard and many others all with winning strategies, all with winning selections. We yet again smashed Speedratings today - we do every Wednesday (every day in fact). I just wanted to thank you guys and girls again for your efforts, your support, your strategies and your kindness. Car crash stuff yesterday. A few winners here and there, but mainly poor with many selections running well below their mark! So many lacklustre runs, poor rides which was disappointing. When you see a horse finish down the field knowing that in theory it has 12-18lbs plus up its cuff on OR its a day where you just have to shrug and move on. Clearly we only have a few days like this generally. But wow, what a strange day. I accept though that betting banks get hit and confidence affected! Today overall doesn't look like a day to salvage, rather to tread carefully - stake minimised and any losses restricted coupled with profit targets lowered.

Well I said yesterday stark improvement was required and I think we did get a big jolt of that. BBOTD won at 9/4sp and if playing both selections we went through the entire card at Lingfield with 8 from 8! That also included a 1-2-3 in the 2.30 as Angel of Darkness won at 12/1 the longshot 2nd at 20/1 and the 1st rated 3rd at 4/6! We faired ok at the other meetings with some nice odds winning or placing. Overall if you didn't make a few ££ from the Ratings yesterday then please email me as you can not be following any strategy advertised on the Site! Even £20 on the BBOTD returned £45 net which for most would be in excess of the daily profit target. (45 x 360 = £16,200 net per annum!?)
Today looks a tougher day on the numbers. Some difficult races at Nottingham and in particular at Catterick especially!
In my view, the PLACE market is the best place to play today. You can see from the Longshot list how tricky Catterick could be today. Not one for the feint hearted today!

Grand National Day!
BBOTD won yesterday but that to be honest was the best thing that happened yesterday. We had a few other winners - Gallipolo (6/1) Zamfar (7/2) and perhaps our 40/1 longshot (18/1 sp) Enniscoffey Oscar finishing 2nd in the 5.15 but overall it was a tough day at the office as I predicted. Today's cards looks equally tough as I am sure Richard et al will testify. The Grand National is one of the most open I can recall and the handicapper has in my opinion played a blinder! I was sitting there last night deciding whether to apply the ratings criteria or just pick 3-4 of my favourite colours/names! Enjoy the racing, but perhaps don't bet today would be my assessment!

BBOTD and the suggested double came in at improved odds so around 2.5/1 on your money and to £50 stake it retuned £125 net! We had a 32/1bsp winner with Jukebox Jive beating the 1/6 shot Pealer! Overall though it was a little below par, but more importantly we once again stood head and shoulders above Speedratings.com! We do so every Wednesday, week in, week out. In almost 4 years I recall them only having a better Wednesday than TPS on 3-4 occasions! Not bad in over 200 weeks!
