Richard im getting that message too, bit irritating. I can tell you my take on the Jockey/Trainer strategy:

– once TPS selections available go to Racing Post online
– ignore Hunters Chase, National Hunt, and Novice Handicap Hurdle races
– For each race in RP load the ‘stats’ tab at the bottom and note the

best total wins

in the Overall column for Jockey and Trainer. If any TPS selection has that Jockey and/or Trainer then this is a possible match.
– For AW meetings we are only interested in TPS 1st rated selections which have ‘tips’ against them.
– For Handicap Hurdle races we are only interested in TPS 1st rated selections.
– 1st rated, eliminate any races that do not have 5-9 runners.
– 2nd rated, eliminate any races that do not have 4-11 runners.
– Horses remaining are your selections for the day.

I have been selecting the horses asap after the TPS ratings are published to get the early price.
Hope that helps, im looking for a strategy with the TPS ratings which i can put 1pt flat bets on early in the day as this fits in with my work, it seems promising so far….

Hi all,

good day yesterday for the Jockey/Trainer strategy im trialling, 6 wins from 13 winners and a flat bet profit of 3.2pts. Currently sitting at 17pts profit from 9 days of betting and an ROI of over 15%, so not too bad 🙂 Ive been generating the selections as early as poss to get the best prices and this seems to be paying off.

Richard Storey, apologies ive only just read your post….my time at a keyboard is limited so havent been able post the actual tips. Did you get into the Strategy page? Have you had any success with it?

AJAX VS MAN UTD
= AJAX WIN @ 4.50
Ajax come into this after a good 3-1 win over Willem II and are rested since then (14/05) so will be fresh. Their run to the final included being unbeaten in the group stage and seeing off Schalke (10th Bundesliga), and Lyon (4th Ligue Un) in the knockout phase. The club has a fine European pedigree but nothing of note in the 21st century so I would argue that they are due. It’s a young team with Chelsea’s Bertrand Traore up front, a player Mourinho brought to Chelsea ironically.

Manchester United come into this after arguably the worst season they have had in the Premier League era (David Moyes must be smiling at that comment). They are plagued by injuries with Ibrahimovic and other first team regulars out who will be replaced with youngsters. Also key to note is the fact United lost 2 away games in the group stage, one to Feyenoord wh0 while winning the league were bettered by Ajax away from home during the season. Odds are too good not to take on Ajax, they can win this in 90 minutes.
